Well, that was certainly something. Even for junk food I feel slightly empty now. I think I might be done with Seo, finally. I mean, he can't draw, can't do drama/romance/action/ecchi/slice of life and even his success rate at humor is 1 out of 10 at most.
Now I want to read Fuuka.
I might be a masochist.

At least his representation of God was rather amusing.

After near death experience causes to lose a lot of weight, fujoshi Serinuma Kae somehow ends up turning into a hottie which causes her to attract a bunch of handsome men
+one girl
. So they basically all thirst after her but she'd much rather see them thirst after each other.

I was surprised that it has gone for many volumes, in her comments for v1 she made it seemed like it was good for one volume, but I guess she did find a way to continue. Cant wait to get v2.

All shame has faded, so I'll start posting impressions.

It's actually better written than I expected. ManGAF's smut choices have been historically wonky, for every Food Smut there's an Aunt Tits to balance the scales. Keijo has so far proven to be in league with the former. The actual fights and challenges have been entertaining too, with a diversity I wouldn't have anticipated from the first chapter.

I am a little worried about a case of Claymore Syndrome developing, but the artist has done a decent job differentiating the cast so far. Having the freedom to give the girls different clothes and hair colours will definitely help too.

Technically, this counts as my fourth ongoing sport manga (fifth if you count Food Smut) so I feel like I need to balance things out with a good action/adventure series. Any suggestions?

Glad that you came around. It's indeed one of the most enjoyable shonen out there actually~

As for an action/adventure series. Uh, have you read Drifters yet?

The funny thing is, Princess Lucia might actually be the least aggravating and most pleasent thing that Seo has done.
Which makes it all the poorer in some ways.
And boobs will never be any less absurd than in that manga. I mean...naw, it's just silly.

Some day I'll read Fuuk.
That's what everyone should call it.

Starting to get more into manga, reading it a fair bit on Crunchyroll but wondering what other places might be worth checking out to read it legally. Any recommendations? I'm pretty all over the place in terms of the genres I like.

Manga is a nebulous kind of area when it comes to legality. Crunchyroll is fine, you can pay for Weekly Shonen Jump issues on Viz.

The 4th wall was so thoroughly shattered to address its cancellation. It was pretty funny.

This guy's manga have all been pretty short lived. Just found out from his MU page that he's done hentai, some of it more twisted than you'd probably expect, given what we've seen of his normal serializations.

There aren't a lot of options for digital manga, unfortunately. Crunchyroll have the best business moeel, but their library is kind of lacking. Viz have Weekly Shonen Jump International, but I just don't like their app enough to buy volumes on it. Kodansha has their stuff on Comixology which is convenient if you also read western digital comics, but it's all available on CR making it redundant. Jump International is on Comixology now too, but buying it individually is more expensive than just getting a subscription.

I remember there was this one site with a terrible lineup and a nonsensical price structure, so it went bust. whatever happened to the stuff people bought?

Jmanga? It was all lost. I had bought some volumes of Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru on it too. Fortunately CR got it.

Magi 283 You know what my favorite part of time skips are? Character redesigns. I was really hoping for a slightly different looking Alibaba, but oh well. Hoping the rest of the cast atleast grew more hair. Also, a thought just occurred to me. I wonder how much Alibaba's one hundred years of extra existence will come into play?

There have been less announcements in Italy at this year's Lucca, though it could be argued that it's for the best, because there are too many manga coming out already and many past license acquisitions still haven't been released from the new entries in the market.

Still, some interesting (for a reason or another) stuff have been picked.
Shield Bro isn't something I imagined to see here. Same for the Danmachi novel or Love Live.
