It took me a good hot minute for my brain to process that Team Ninja=/=Ninja Theory and for a moment I knew what true fear felt like.
But on that, I'd be surprisingly ok with that. People like to give Team Ninja a lot of shit for Other M and NG3 but they've since proven they're still a perfectly capable studio in most other conditions, and DoA5 is still excellent.

What you should be looking at is the context and the ones with the #datmarvel
The context olso preludes as well. For example one he posted of showed wolverine saying that "he goes where ever he wants" and another of him fighting off a sentinel alone by pushing gambit out and locking the door.
And another vid of magneto ultimately wounded by plastic sentinels.
He could have been hinting at there exclusion in this title.
As for the others he had the #datmarvelclassic, most likely reminiscing of the old characters not being in.
Who knows, lupinko might just point us in the right direction soon.

What if he realized he had it backwards all along?
This is likely a throught far too sensible to ever enter Ike Perlmutter's brain, but...what if?

I do believe that Lupinko may have some info about the roster and that's why he's teasing via twitter but I don't think that all the characters that appeared in pics or videos are going to be on the game. He's giving an idea of what can we expect... or maybe he's trolling us and teasing something else, he was way too cryptic when UMVC3 happened.

I guess that's a pretty good point. I was thinking of just including the ones with the #datmarvel tag but all the other posts felt just a little off compared to what the dude usually tweets about, and the #datmarvel hints felt like the least believable of the bunch due to all the X-men, so may as well obsessively go for broke.
Reading into the actual context of the tweets for deeper meaning might could be pretty legit, but that's a rabbit hole I'll wait till later to go down.
I wonder if they have enough know-how to somehow bullshit up the fabled UMvC3 patch, or can get some of the team to do some rebalance work. That'd be the only way I'd really pay attention to a UMvC3 port, though a port happening at all is a small miracle so I'll take what I can get.

That was for MVC3, so he just dropped hints for Ultimate. SFxT was just a list for the Vita characters, though.
That stream chat will be a nightmare.
They do play random games on there I think, and they are surely aware of the rumors. If they are not working on a port, they should know it's a bit of a troll move.
