9/10 NeoGAFfers don't understand statistics. The other 3/10 don't care.
I had to search about 7 shops to find a copy of Guild Wars 2.

I've also noticed allot of adverts for The Sims 3 on TV recently in the UK.

[3DS] New Super Mario Bros. 2

1st week 32.400
2nd week 24.300 (-25%)
3rd week 15.500 (-36%)
4th week 9.300 (-40%)

Mpl90

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
Given we actually know both Sleeping Dogs and NSMB2 numbers, we can extrapolate possible numbers for Darksiders 2

From

NSMB 2nd Week: 24.215 (-25%)
Sleeping Dogs 2nd Week: 44.700 (-15%) 360 - 26.373 (59%) PS3 - 17.433 (39%)

All SKU chart: Darksiders 2 debuted in 2nd place, between SD and NSMB2.
So, first extrapolation: DS2 1st week between 24.215 and 44.700

Then, in Individual SKU Chart

01 (02) 360 Sleeping Dogs (Square Enix Europe)
02 (01) 3DS New Super Mario Bros. 2 (Nintendo)
03 (__) 360 Darksiders Ii (Thq)
04 (03) PS3 Sleeping Dogs (Square Enix Europe)
05 (__) PS3 Darksiders Ii (Thq)

360 SKU between 17.433 and 24.215, PS3 SKU lower than 17.433.

In DS2 2nd Week: the 360 SKU is lower than SD PS3 3rd Week (10.531) and above all between 360 and PS3 London 2012 SKUs.

London 2012 Week 35: 15,633 (+4%) 360 - 8.754 (56%) PS3 - 6.722 (43%)
So, DS2 360 2nd Week: between 6.722 and 8.754

Given DS2 360 2nd Week sales represented 61% of total

Darksiders 2 2nd Week: between 11.020 and 14.351

So

DS2 1st Week: between 38.000 and 49.486 in theory, but since 360 sales represented 60% sales 1st week, calculating from both numbers we'd have respectively 22.800 (a number very near to NSMB2 2nd week) and almost 30k. So, DS2 1st week is around 40k.

DS2 progression: 40k - 11.6k (-71%) - 5k (-57%)
DS2 360 progression: 24k - 7.1k - 3k
DS2 PS3 progression: 13.6k - 4.3k - 2k

As was to be expected, Tales of Graces F has had a good opening in France. On the contrary the game is already out of the top 40 in the UK market after debuting in 10th position.

If we take a look at the PS3 software chart, Tales of Graces F is in 14th position. Batman: Arkham City is 8th and that is the game that closes the global software chart (40th).

DS2 progression: 40k - 11.6k (-71%) - 5k (-57%)
DS2 360 progression: 24k - 7.1k - 3k
DS2 PS3 progression: 13.6k - 4.3k - 2k

Extremely disappointing sales since they show a great drop-off, THQ won't be happy at all. It is also fair to say that their expectations were simply crazy, Darksiders II never had a chance to sell what they were expecting to.

Great legs (kind of) Sleeping Dogs! This game deserves every sale it gets. Its just mind boggling that it did so much worse in the US than in Europe. Wonder how it'll end up doing in Japan.

It made Top 10 last week, but completely fell out the Top40 this week. Namco should have released a Day 2 edition ;)

A lot of retailers still hold copies of the Day One edition. Never expected a big opening, but I was kinda hoping it was a slow burner that would continue to sell.

Darksiders II sales don't look very promising either. Haven't bought that one yet but I plan to. Enjoyed the first.

Great to see Sleeping Dogs chugging along though

According to the estimates posted by Mpl90 we know that Tales of Graces F at least sold over 4.300 units in its opening. Its LTD sales should be around 5.500 - 6.000 since I don't think it has sold more than a few hundred units in its second week.

06 360 Darksiders II (THQ) - 7.100
10 PS3 Tales of Graces F (Namco Bandai Games) - ?
13 PS3 Darksiders II (THQ) - 4.300

Man, this year has been such a crappy year for games.

I was going to make a remark that we (As in, UK gamers) don't support core games enough, then I realised that I haven't bought a game myself since June. And before that, it was February.

2012 might actually be my worst year in gaming ever.

Actual numbers from the UK

Darkisders 2 is now at 54k total including 4700 for wk 36
Tales of Graces sold about 1000 in its second week, 5800 LTD

10 weeks since a Vita game was in the UK top 40 (Week 26, MGS HD)
although the only retail game released since then that i can find is Jonah Lomu Rugby?
games that could break the sequence - LBP (21st Sept) FIFA (28th Sept) Assassins Creed (31st Oct)

I'm still yet to buy a retail Vita game besides the JP version of P4G. There really is nothing worth buying on the system.

My Vita is pretty much a very pretty, very expensive PSP.

I hope Sleeping dogs manages to get around 250k before the end of the year in the UK alone so that should go well with the rest of Europe of having strong sales and then it's a matter of seeing how strong legs it will be with America and Japan. I just hope the sales do well enough to bring out a sequel.

I think that's something of an exaggeration.

I mean, it all depends on tastes (And if you rent games or not), but everything I've played on it so far has either been too short on gameplay or not of a high enough quality for me to consider purchasing. I think Uncharted is probably the only game that I've played that I'd give a decent rating to?

How much are the games at the bottom end of the chart selling, generally? How many units would Arkham City (in 40th place) have sold last week?

Couple of hundred? More? Less?

Since ToGF sold 1000 copies, and that's 14th in the PS3 Specific SKU, where Batman Arkham City is 8th...more than 1000 copies.

Eh, fair enough. I'm pretty chuffed with my Vita library so far but there's no denying it needs more in both quality and quantity.

Well, to be fair I'd wager it outsold the PS3 version of Sleeping Dogs. Still, this was not the complete global saturation people were expecting.

I wonder if the NSMB2 sales have started to get Nintendo worried about whether NMSBU will be the system seller they were hoping for.

So Graces F bombed badly? Sigh...

I just checked and the official Namco Bandai UK and Tales of UK Twitter accounts have hardly mentioned the game since it came out. Kinda surprised they're not making more use of their own, free, marketing channels.

In the August NPD, Sleeping Dogs sold 172k copies which was about 2 weeks of sale. In the UK, despite all the talk of how well it sells there and showing legs it's only at 141K copies after ~4 weeks.

So can we dial down the excitement of how well SD is doing in UK? The 6th placed game in NPD, being on sale for 2 weeks, is selling more than the game that has been topping the charts in UK for around 4 weeks.

The performance of the game in UK is testament only for the severe well-being of the UK market and nothing more. The UK sales can't and won't carry a game that is under-performing in the US, and it won't make up for the difference. The only games where the UK market lifts the heavy load and can turn-around unsuccessful US launch are Racing and Soccer.

UK is a significantly smaller market than the US, you do realise that, right? If anything the game doing almost as good as in the US during August shows you how much support there is for SD in the UK. (Don't forget that US figure does not include PC as well)

Also SD is doing well across Europe as well, it's not just the UK.
