This game is going to sell millions with all the fanservice Nintendo is putting in this. This is the biggest Nintendo title that has come out of them in years.

I think if there would be a delay this would be awesome.

Not only do we have Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy to play, a delay means that it's possible they are STILL implementing some character ideas/ maybe they were able to get hold of a character, who knows?

Or they could be working on Wifi Play. Seriously, once this game comes out you will have it forever. A delay is good news (IMO)

I wouldn't take this as confirmation of a delay in NA. The japanese update mentions it, but the same american update skips it.

I think it's just an announcement of the Japanese release date, since they didn't get one when we did.

Fucking Sonic! Videos look great. I'm thinking the date has at least changed. TBD on the homepage has me worried.

Anyway videos look insane. So much going on.

NoA Marketing, it's a heavy weight title. It can hold it's own in the Dec. Rush!

I'm also *really* curious as to what is causing this delay. That quote seems to suggest that it's not sales strategy related (unless they're lying to us).

What else could they possibly add to the game? In that small amount of time?

Well, Sakurai said it was ready for shipping a while back.

Oh, and, for third party characters?

Chun-li or Ryu. Preferably Chun-li. It's a hell of a long shot, but MAKE IT SO!

oh man, I am seriously not joking when I say that I watched the Sonic trailer atleast 27 times already.

I am dead set on making Sonic the character I will play as the most.

Game balance regarding the speedsters is even more important since Sonic would have to be even faster than Fox. :lol

he looks fast (obviously should be). I foresee a lot of accidental spinning off the edge of the map. He does look pretty bs though, I wanna master using him as well.

We need Mega Man and the Ninja Gaiden guy now Nintendo. Hell why not lets get Master Chief as well....or is Smash only for characters that have appeared on a nintendo console on at least one platform?

-It seems the pics below go transparent when the fighters are behind them.

basically he
becomes Super Sonic, races off the screen, comes back from the other side so fast all you see is a a distortion effect and pretty much this hapens very fast all over the screen if bright flashes and such.

After watching the new video on the Brawl site, I'm so glad Nintendo has made Sonic cool again, and what a strange thought that is. I find myself wishing Sega would sell the Sonic property to Nintendo, not that it would ever happen.
