Even if both parties would benefit from Cloud's inclusion, i don't see it happening. If S-E wanted Cloud in a new fighting game they'll put him in Dissidia or something. I'm not a purist, but i'm just trying to be real.

And plus we already have Ike.:D

Fair enough. The parts about Snake's moves and Meta Knight's victory theme were pretty specific, though. >_>

So was being able to perform a Final Smash just once. Changes happen though, and that's a good example of one from the Dojo only 5 months ago.

It was unclear whether he meant just once per smash ball, just once per match, just once per life, etc.

Come to think of it, have we gotten reports of someone other than Samus using a final smash twice in the same life and/or same match?

Well when that one guy played the demo in front of the camera he was doing a demonstration with Samus and Mario.

Two Smash Balls appeared in the same match, so I think they just appear at random.

It was definitely not clear what was meant by the one final smash. It can easily (and apparently should) be interpreted as once per smash ball.

makes good threads.
I'm just gonna go with a random guess: Customizable characters

Arms of Kong, feet of Kirby, body of Samus, head of Mario, moves of a god (Ganondorf if available). My freak of nature will rule the webs! Weep in the fury of Kokisamaga!

Yeah, I'm still holding out for at least a small amount of character customization somewhere in the game, even if it's only limited to the Animal Crossing character (who's in the perfect series for it), Pokemon Trainer (who has the perfect name for it), or some kind of DS "character" who acts sort of like the Drawn to Life mechanic.

I still say Casino night Zone.

and so...its an hour later tonight? for real?
No, the update is at the same time. However, the time in australia has changed, so for them it's an hour later. The time in many US states will change next week.

No bald cap? Lies!
I find it odd no one has mention Princess Rosalina yet. I wonder if she has a shot of being in SSBB, or (seeing as Im speculating off IGN's Smash It Up) will she possibly just be a costume change for Princess Peach? She could be a pretty decent character if they utilized her Star Rod and gave her more cosmic abilities.

Wouldn't it be an hour earlier for us? Time falls back an hour next week, so things that used to happen at 3 am should now happen at 2 am (err, "now" being a week from now). Right?

Kodiak

Not an asshole.
MY PREDICTION FOR TODAY

IS A NEW LEVEL

BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE THERE HAS BEEN A NEW LEVEL

WHY DO I FEEL THE NEED TO BE AN ATTENTION WHORE

(sorry, I get silly when I'm tired)

You can create your own stages this time?! No way. REALLY?! With a feature like that, won’t I be able to play this game forever?!

Apparently it’s true...!!!

Those who enjoy a little effort may be able to enjoy this stage builder for the rest of their lives.

First, start from the initial setting.

You start by choosing the size of the stage, the background pattern, and the music that will play. Oops! Sorry. For music, you’ll only be able to choose from the songs you have available.

This is the edit screen!

Basically, you choose parts from the palette on the side and place them in the field.

The controls vary by controller, but each one can do the following:

Flip parts left to right
Enlarge or shrink parts
Zoom in or out on the screen
Swap palettes
Erase
...Among other things.

Just place terrain however you like.

Then try it out!

Modify it and try it... Repeat as necessary. Make your own ideal stage!

Mmm... That’s amazing.

And you can save a name and a comment for the stage.

You can change the music on the save screen. Choose something that matches the mood of your stage.

And I’m glad to say that this feature is compatible with SD cards. You don’t have to worry about size, so make as many stages as you like.

Also, if you’ve registered someone as both a Wii Friend and a Smash friend, you’ll be able to send custom stages to each other.

Now, for those who hate putting effort into such things, we’ve also prepared something for people like you to enjoy.

"Submit"...?

That’s right! You can use your Wi-Fi connection to send stages you’ve made to Nintendo! (However, you can’t submit repeatedly. Maybe just once per day?)

Every day, a stage selected from the entire daily collection will be sent from Nintendo to your Wii. A stage made by someone else will come to you over the Internet once per day!

DUN DUN DUNNNNNN! That’s the shocking truth. This means you’ll be able to experience a new stage every day – the flavour of the day, if you will. However, the plan is for that stage to vanish once one day has passed. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime encounter.

You can submit in both the Snapshots mode and the Stage Builder mode, allowing everyone to enjoy the creations of others. The fun of sharing is one of the ways that I wanted to take advantage of Wi-Fi for something other than pure battling.

Today’s stage has lots of traps...

This is our current ideal plan. We still don’t know the exact service period. And future fine-tuning may result in changes to this feature.

But for now, please look forward to it!

I am having HEART PALPITATIONS!

Not only do we get a stage builder, but one of the Mother songs is revealed! AND STICKERBRUSH SYMPHONY FROM DONKEY KONG COUNTRY 2: DIDDY'S KONG QUEST!

I know I already posted something like this, but MY GOD.

makes good threads.
Holy fuck!

Sorry for the extreme expression, but it's the most appropriate for this update (at least for me). Every megaton update has been awesome but this one actually brought the "Holy fuck" out of me. That and this:
