The challenge is to finish three or more games a month.
I find that having this goal can be a good reminder to pick up some old saves, and motivation to continue games through the occasional frustrating times. Some months can be harder than others, and different people have different circumstances, but three can often be an achievable goal to push for.
What counts as finishing a game can sometimes be fuzzy, so you can use your own judgement. There aren't any hard rules.
Please post your goals for the month, and please share your triumphs and setbacks and impressions of the games you play as the month goes by.
How Long to Beat is a big help, as a guide to how much longer a game will take.
Backloggery can be used to keep track of the games you have and haven't finished, to prevent a game from falling through the cracks.
Does anyone have other tools they use?
52 Games. 1 Year. 2016. is a thread for if you're looking for a bigger challenge.
Good luck to everyone chipping away at their backlog.

I thought it would be difficult for me to reach 3 this month, but I have so far finished 5:
The Book of Unwritten Tales 1: Finished on the 10th. I bought the first game and a side-story called Critter Chronicles ages ago, but before recently I hadn't played far into it. The sequel being on sale on PS4 motivated me to play through the series. Puzzles make sense. There were some bugs and one was game-breaking but I had a save file from not far back. The ending chapter started with an exciting premise but that chapter was surprisingly short.
Ratchet & Clank: The new one, finished April 22nd. I was disappointed by some of the story changes, and don't care about the new ally characters. Maybe the controls didn't quite play as well as most of the other games in the series. A lot of people really like it but it didn't click for me as much as the other games.
The Book of Unwritten Tales: The Critter Chronicles: Finished on the 23rd. Well, it reproducibly crashes when loading in the end credits which some other people also encountered. The story got some emotion to it that I cared about but there were more puzzles which weren't so logical, which was unfortunate.
Puzzle Agent 2: I played through it from beginning to end on April 25th. The puzzles were overall not very good. Many were too easy or not fun.
King's Quest: Chapter 3: Finished on the 27th. It has good characterisation. The structure of the chapter was more a series of mini-games than before, which was disappointing at times but the good character writing helped them.
