Wow Sp0rsk, for some reason I was under the impression that when the game came out ( in Japan ) you would lock this thread and create an official SSB thread. Thank God you are keeping this one alive.

This is the best update ever. I love when they deal with music! As much as I dislike the synthesizer they use in the game, the amount of composers and actual arrangements is totally crazy. I wonder who Sakurai slept with to get this budget approved...

Fucking awesome. They picked some of the best Zelda themes to go with this. I was ecstatic about the Dark World theme, but we already knew that. And now Hyrule Field from OoT? FUCK YES!

A bit off topic, but has anyone in Japan NOT PREORDERED?

I'd like to pick up the game on Thursday, I have off from work, but I had no idea that seemingly every store did preorders? Does anyone know of big chains that don't do preorders? Does Jusco? Tsutaya? I can show up to shows early and "camp" in line, but it seems pointless with preorders.

Do you think they'll be any copies left for people who show up to shops early?

Anyone?

I'd assume Jusco and the like are your best bet. I doubt many people are gonna be there on thursday.

That's what I'm thinking it is. It can't be the opening theme, considering it would be too short otherwise.

NINTENDO HAVE GIVEN ONE OF THE JAPANESE FIRE EMBLEMS AN OFFICIAL ENGLISH TITLE!!! This means that an English release of one of the jpn Fire Emblems is now very likely :D

Yes it`s pretty good. I really hope they keep the "acoustic" feel to the song.

I cant wait for Snakes portions in SSE. They could be so hilarious!

Stay away from Gametrailers. I've been completely unspoiled on secret characters aside from the three revealed through Nintendo's sticker video error, but there's some video titles linked on the site's front page that spoil one of the other secret characters.

It's gonna be a long month for those of us trying to remain unspoiled.

The great thing about the update is that its only a list of the music that we start off with. The final list of music is going to be huge once all the tracks are unlocked.

Yell "Dead Cell" is perfect for Brawl. I remember hearing it for the first time and thinking, "What, this isn't Encounter! RAIIIIIIIIIIDEEEEEN, you're even messing up the music!"

But that funky techno-jazz beat was actually pretty catchy, and it fits Brawl pretty well.
