This is a bit early, but there was a crap load of neat/unique stuff uploaded to the Japan store already. We also have confirmation from the SCEA blog that the Heavenly Sword demo is coming this week to the US.

I expanded the indexes and added a FW index as well. I figure since a lot of people are jumping in since the price cut, they might want to check out some impressions on the older stuff, in case they're interested.

From now on, I'll be dropping the oldest week from the index so it doesn't get any longer.

It's also been rumored that the MGS4 gameplay will show up on PSN this week.
 
Heavenly Sword is looking super sweet!
It's nearly impossible to hate on a red headed Ninja! Red heads make 1% of our population...Being unique is always nice.

Has anyone noticed that Ratchet in the Japanese trailer has big, juicy, glistening anime eyes? :lol

Compare the same shots to the American trailer, you'll lol.

Heavenly Sword demo is pretty much the same thing as a trailer, you just have to press a button every once and awhile to keep the movie going.

With the exception of today, this thread has gotten posted on Thursday for the last 4 weeks in a row. Also, the new Japanese trailers are up now.

That being said, for my personal guidelines, I will not post a thread before Thursday unless I know what is coming beforehand and will never do so earlier than Tuesday.

tan can we work on a better format for the weekly updates, they're awesome but kinna like wtf is going on.

At anyrate I'm hoping for: trailers, PSone game, and Demo - that would be awesome.

Same trailer except the captions are in Japanese. Same exact quality and everything. I was hoping for something with a little better IQ. This video, while nice, definitely isn't direct feed. It has this very soft look to it.

Pretty much, the only thing I noticed was that there didn't seem to be as much pixellation in the JPSN video with fast camera movements. *shrug*

At least it'll let you try out the gameplay, right? I'm typically not a big fan of action games like this but this should let me know whether to keep it on my long fancy games-I-have-to-buy-this-fall list.
 
Hmm looks like a good update this week.

Hmm i doubt it but, i wonder if they somehow surprise us with another cool PS1 download this week. I also wonder how they will handle multi disc PS1 games(if they ever actually release games like FF7,8,9, LOD, Arc the Lad)

Heavenly Sword demo should make it a good week regardless of other content.

Is there any reason why there are so few 3rd party demos on PS3? This pisses me off more than anything, X360 gets a shitload of demos all the time. When PS3 gets a demo it's an event.
 
The "Making of Lair" video looks really cool. My only complaint is that the camera looks kind of janky.

If it's a recent build, Factor 5 seems to have a lot of polish work left to do.
