This week sees Sega’s ‘Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games’ return to the top spot for the fourth time thanks to the DS version which accounts for a massive 93% of the title’s sales.

Capcom’s ‘Devil May Cry 4’ drops down to No2 after one week on top and Disney’s ‘Turok’ holds on to No3 for a second week. Activision’s ‘Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’ springs back up to No4 and Nintendo’s ‘Wii Play’ again completes the top. After last week’s avalanche of new releases in the Top 40, there’s just two newcomers this week: Midway’s ‘Game Party’ (Wii) debuts at No15 and 505 Games’ ‘Cooking Mama 2’ (DS) comes in at No33.

Shortages again for the Wii version ? It litterally dived in the Wii charts...

BTW, Capcom is airing different DMC 4 ads now here in europe (or at least in germany). Now you see the packshot of the PS3 version at the end, too. Also, the Xbox 360 Logo at the end of the spot is gone.

First time ever?

All thanks to Uncharted with its excellent legs. All the other titles are third party and duplicated between 360 and PS3. On the other hand, 360 has 5 games in the Top 20 while PS3 only has 4.
Spin.

A nice almost equal split between the 3 consoles in the Top 40 is good - competition!

Capcom are paying for those, while MS paid for (or at least subsidised) the launch ads.

Especially when PS3 titles mysteriously have £10 higher RRPs in cases. :lol

What has happened to the Wii version of Mario & Sonic? Did the DS version completely kill its chances outright, or is it shortage of software stock, or what?

It amuses you when they charge more? Admit it, you told Sony that we want to pay up to 599 for the PS3...

01 (02) [NDS] Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games (Sega) Money money money money money money
05 (06) [360] Turok (Disney Interactive Studios) Seriously major congratulations Propaganda, I'm shocked the brand has selling power in the UK still.
06 (04) [PS3] Devil May Cry 4 (Capcom) Holding strong on PS3, good signs.
07 (15) [NDS] Professor Kageyama's Maths Training (Nintendo) Okay when will we reach saturation point on these games? Nintendo of Europe has essentially comissioned two games off the back of Brain Training- are they going to damage the -Training brand?

34 (__) [NDS] Imagine: Babies (Ubisoft) ...

Batallion Wars 2 is a babies game by all accounts, no difficulty until the game is practically over. Not seen any marketing, hardly a surprise. I don't expect legs unless they gouge the price.

I'm sure that darts game was being touted around here as a huge hit, I suppose it is compared to other dart games.

Sad, and Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 doesn't even make it to Wii top30.

Price breaks, once you've ordered a certain amount subsequent purchases get cheaper

What? AFAIK, Kageyama's Maths Training and Sight Training are both localisations of Japanese games, not specially-commissioned NoE titles.

BWII :-(

Oh well it was to be expected but it's still kind of sad a game like this gets overlooked.

Otherwise not a lot happening. M&S taking over was to be expected (not as heavily frontloaded) though I had expected it to debut at the No. 1 spot. It seems like the DS version pretty much killed the Wii version for the time being.

But those are not (non) games - they're edutainment. Anyways, I heard it's too easy for people who finished school.

This is so wrong. D:
SatSR's price has been slashed before christmas iirc. Not that people shouldn't pay more for Galaxy, but they are cheap and Sonic still has a good recognition in the UK.

I like how most multi-plat games (see Assassins Creed, Burnout and Turok) are all grouped together on the charts or separated by a couple of spots. This is a nice healthy marketplace. Its just a shame so many people in the UK feel the need to eat up all these "......... Training" games. Is my country so Damn thick it needs Nintendo to help them learn basic Maths etc?

I hate Nintendo's attidute towards BWii. It's like it doesn't excist for them.

Kinda wierd that DMC4 PS3 and 360 arent further appart concidering that the 360 version is cheaper and the userbase is bigger. Any numbers on how many % between the 2 consoles? First week was 61% 360 and 39% PS3 right? Hard to say how it is now though since the positions between 2nd and 6th place can be quite big i guess.

Well, I'll play you once my Wii gets home from the repair center (probably 1-2 weeks). But yeah, the series really is Nintendo's read headed stepchild :-(.
