Whats gaf's opinion on man bags?

I use mine occasionally, similar to this one

Even my boy david has one

Fuck no, GF recently asked if I wanted one.

I don't. Handbags drive me insane with the shit girls stash in them. Why would I want that.

If i'm carrying more than my phone and my wallet I should have just stayed at home.

I'm not sure how to fill that bag

All I need is my smartphone and my wallet - I can see people who need to take their medicine or something like that having a bag, but otherwise? Pardon if this sounds too ignorant :lol

Generally hate bags. I use a sleeve for my laptop. Only bags I have are luggage and my gym bag or a beer bag.

I think most women I know love bags, but lose everything they own because they've got 3 or 4 active bags. I can't live like that.

I fill mine with plenty: tablet, cameras, lenses, SD cards, batteries, 3DS, lunch, random accessories, papers. Macbook Air, hard drive, and more cables when I'm traveling. It's a hell of a useful thing to have. Plus, living in NYC, it's basically the trunk of the car I don't own.

Just ordered a new Billingham to replace my current messenger that's getting a bit ratty.

I don't carry enough things on me to warrant a satchel or messenger bag or something comparable. Laptop sleeves and sleek carrying cases are much preferred

I have a canvas messenger bag and a leather satchel. The satchel is for more formal occasions. My mum got it for me probably thinking I was going to get into a suit-and-tie job. The canvas one is what I usually rock. Don't leave home without it.

What gets on my tits, though, is that on planes, girls' bags count for free but mine is considered hand luggage. Bullshit, I tell you!

I like them when I'm going to a convention and I'm in cosplay sometimes since they are easier than a backpack to carry and access stuff in while wearing one. Otherwise it depends on how much stuff I'm carrying around but usually no.

I use a 13" waxed canvas Muzetto Outback these days. Enough for 13" macbook air, camera, kindle, and odds and ends. Pretty rugged and lightweight.

I don't need one on a normal day. Absolutely no problem if somebody uses it, they look great a lot of the time.

Love my messenger bag that I use for school.

Man, I honestly don't like sleeves other than for protection. I need both hands free at all times.

I use this one from Frank and Oak

Really not a fan of the smaller satchels that look more akin to a purse, though.

I have honestly never needed to carry so much stuff that I needed a separate bag. What are you guys doing that requires you to carry so much shit?

DietRob

i've been begging for over 5 years.
I question why I would need to take enough stuff with me to warrant needing a man purse to carry it around. All I ever end up having with me when I leave the house is cellphone, wallet, and keys.

I guess I can sorta understand if you are packing a laptop to and from work but it's kinda stretching it.

I'd be ok with them if the guys would admit they're carrying a purse. But they won't, so I'm not.

I don't like carrying around that many things, I feel uncomfortable carrying bags and I'm likely to lose/forget it. It's annoying to have that much on you at all times. (I usually only ever need my wallet and phone, keys, maybe a pen, and sometimes a gaming handheld).

I also don't think I could pull something like that off either.

I think once I start working they will give me a backpack for my work laptop and anything of that sort. That's really all I need atm.

Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.
All about briefcases. Man bags are for hipsters.

For work I use a backpack, it's just easier when you have loads of stuff!

I mainly use a bag when socialising or shopping.

Maturity, bitches.
Back in…2006?… I questioned why have men never copied the handbag because clearly it is a practical item. Then I went hunting to see if I could find a men's handbag. I had no luck so I literally had to buy the most unisex looking handbag from the ladies department. Then in 2007 they suddenly started popping up in stores. Typical. I am talking a small bag here, not a laptop sized shoulder bag.

It's good for the summer when you lack pockets from not wearing a coat or jacket.

I don't care if people think it's funny to carry. It is 100% practical.

I have a black leather one I take everywhere. It has my Nexus 7 in it, some spare contact lenses, sunglasses, gloves and an umbrella, because I live in England.
