I love the soundtrack of UT99 and played it just the other day, so for me it's not quite as random lol ............I miss the good 'ol days man :')

The entire soundtrack is! Only song I don't like (and I really don't like it) is Mangrove Cove, and even there the underwater variation is fantastic so I can give it a pass. Everything is just divine.

I think Alpine Incline (Ground) is the closest thing to the industrial style Fear Factory had.

Hopefully Wise gets back on a consistent schedule...if he's up for it, of course. TF proves that he not only "still has it", but he's on top of his fucking game with both remixes and instruments/styles of music he's never tackled before. Man deserves to be in the spotlight.
Very classy DKC2 remix by the Rare trio. Wise also put in a beast of a saxophone solo on the DKC3 OC Remix album.

Absolutely. Like I've said before, I think it would be cool to see Retro tackle at least one more DKC... one all about the Kremlings, and not just any Kremlings, but the pirate Kremlings of Crocodile Isle... Bring the island back from the depths, bring back the Kremlings, bring back the rest of the Animal Buddies... And just remix the heck out of the entire DKC2 soundtrack. Recreate the dark dripping atmosphere of that game in HD. And close out the trilogy with an epic K. Rool battle. It'd be the perfect finale.

I love everything about this themes and I've been having these tracks on heavy rotation already. I need these tracks on my phone pronto.
These games are the reason I've gotten into gaming and I honestly owe some of that not only to the games fun but Wises soundtrack heavily. Hell this Series OST is so iconic even my parents recognize a few of the tracks off the bat

I think that soon we will have to vote for the best track, the new "Stickerbrush Symphony" so to speak.
So far i think its Scorch 'N' Torch. The epicness of this track brings the tears.

I think I would give the nod to Wing Ding or Amiss Abyss... But Scorch 'N' Torch would definitely be close behind. It might be the opening track when I create a car CD for this game, just because it pulls you in so quickly with its amazing atmosphere.
Agreed, this and Homecoming Hijinx are my two favorites so far.
Homecoming Hijinx have such a DKC2 world theme vibe.

If you can, definitely give some attention to 6-2, 6-5, and 6-7. They can be a slow burn but it's worth it.
And I absolutely love how the game shifts tone at world 6. It's all fun n' games for the first five worlds, then suddenly NO MORE FUCKIN' AROUND, TIME TO KICK THESE BASTARDS OFF YOUR ISLAND!
