Hmm, interesting concept but I'm not assured that it won't be biased towards Playstation.
If this reaches into the 32-bit generation it might be hard to come off as not being that way. It's just a matter of how bad the curbstomp is.Hmm, interesting concept but I'm not assured that it won't be biased towards Playstation.
I don't remember this happening.
They're making it seem that it's only going to focus on NES/SNES vs. Genesis.
I just realized, how are they going to make a movie with so many Japanese people in it? Recast them with white actors?!
Knocked Up is pretty much entirely a Judd Apatow movie.
Sony finally defeats the evil Nintendo empire in the sequel.
developing Console Wars as a feature film to be directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (Knocked Up, Superbad)

I thought that Sega existed as a game company before Nintendo and didn't do anything well when Nintendo came into the industry except the Genesis, and even then was crushed by Nintendo sales-wise.
No. At least in real life.If this reaches into the 32-bit generation it might be hard to come off as not being that way. It's just a matter of how bad the curbstomp is.
EDIT: Though even within the 16-bit generation they can make both companies look like idiots with turning down Sony deals. Which at least Sega was in hindsight, though Nintendo's greyer.
Because the directors do dude-bro comedies and Hollywood tends to make everybody white in these types of scenarios; for example, in 21 the real version had almost all the main characters Asian but in the movie they were almost all changed to be white.
Well, that's certainly some revisionist history.
Sony making a movie about Sega, and they make it sound like Nintendo's the bad guy?
I... don't know what to think.
so who will play gaf? we need someone to represent us yall
The amount of salt in this thread is silly. Goldberg and Rogen only directed one movie and it was good.
so who will play gaf? we need someone to represent us yall
One hundred forty percent. So what are the odds of them referencing the failed PlayStation (disk drive) proposal?
slow clapthat sounds like a dream cast
i see what you did therethat sounds like a dream cast
Gary Oldman as Tom KalinskeI also like the idea that they can't cast asian-american actors. Because they can. They probably will. It'd be pretty hard not to.
Benedict Cuberbatch as Kaz
Michael Fassbender as Iwata
Idris Elba as Miyamoto
Gary Oldman as Sonic
Christian Bale as PS One
