Crazy huge uncompressed sound files are pretty notorious for bloating install sizes. Until Titanfall is out we won't know why though.

I'm sure cboat is reading this thread right now and just laughing his ass off. If he's right, then he will become immortal and Respawn ends up of looking like absolute liars. If he's wrong, well...he gets banned. Not really the end of the world. I don't think he was tricked or misfed information. He doesn't seem like an idiot and knows what the beta looked like. My guess is that he got tired of all of this and wanted to go out with a bang.

Still trying to figure out why CBOAT will go out like this. He could be right for all we know yet a day one patch would make him look like he was lying, and we'll never know since the patch will be needed to play the game in the first place.

I think with the PS3/PS4 games it has more to do with audio. DTS and all of that.

It is amazing how serious we all seem to be taking this. its just videogames guys. At the end of the day, who gives a fuck?

I don't know how much the rest of you know about leaking (I'm an expert), but credibility and responsibility are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in America where you can save yourself by fleeing the country. If you screw up your intel and post it on NeoGAF, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is getting banned.

What this means is that NeoGAF, after hearing about this, is not going to want to trust CBoaT anymore, nor will they read any of his posts. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but CBoaT has alienated the entire forum with this move.

CBoaT, publicly apologize and admit your mistake or you can kiss your account goodbye.

Sorry... It was obligatory.

Lol. This is hilarious and I can't tell who's telling the truth anymore. Whatever happened to honesty in this fucking industry? Why are they so afraid of admitting to things rather than defending it to death or until someone like CBOAT posts stuff that all panic and say "YES" or "NO"?

I hate how things are portrayed at times.
