Hope the game is as fun as it looks, love the atmosphere the trailers give off. I honestly don't have huge expectations, but the studio seems solid and I've liked the last few Wolf games.
I think its great they are not taking it super serious which I recall Wolf 09 being but I could be remembering wrong.

ID Tech engines always had good gunplay and gun feedback. Carmack and his team did good.

Seconded. I've been missing an old school type shooter like this for awhile. Give me mega weapons and lots of ammo with destructible environments with good enemy and environment variety and I'm sold.

He's sliding in 2 of the clips, and probably crouched in the other. EDIT: He might be sliding in all 3 of those close quarters scenes, actually.

The demo I played reminded me a lot of the original FEAR, which is pretty high praise, IMO.
I will never forget
this, Depot and Destruction = six years of gaming, two hours every day. Do the math and you will see why the absence of mp from this is a real bummer for me

Just noticed this on the Eurogamer preview at 1:48 under the collectable tab:

It's 60 fps on every platform.
Looks like it could be fun, albeit not in the same sort of way Return to Castle Wolfenstein (my favorite of the series) was.
I guess the only thing bothering me at this point is the environments. I know it's to do with the story, but it's all very grey and metallic. I did see some castles around though, so at least it's not all metal corridors.

I'm surprised at how good that looks. I had totally written this off, but it looks fun. I love me some over the top gore in shooters

Sliding has been in first person games for a while now, but shooting at the same time? Only Bulletstorm I think did it. Far Cry, you'd have to get out of the slide to shoot which killed the momentum. I need more of this.
Any tickets left for the hype train? I need this game day one.

The last week i can play the game for my cover in spanish site akihabarablues and i liked it so much.
The old school things like de med-kits, the multiple roads on the maps and the new things in Wolfenstein like de stealth kills do this game special and cool.

Consider me hyped.
I never played the 2009 Wolfenstein, but Return to Castlewolfenstein had some stealth ability. There were a few sections in the game that, with great skill or luck, you could stealth your way through, and one or two more that required it.

This latest round of previews (and B-roll footage) was done on PS4. During this entire generation of consoles majority of games will be showcased on PS4, which is a total shift from oldgen.
Game does look really good and better than expected from someone who really did enjoy Return to castle Wolfenstein all those years ago on my Xbox (I even remembering it having splitscreen co-op from memory)
I really wish it had basic Deathmatch multi-player as much as I'm glad they are focusing on a tight single-player experience. Those weapons just look so delicious and I can imagine some really good oldschool fun with them against other players...
