Stopping by to say this is all 100% confirmed.

So if P4 Arena Ultimax is getting a 360 release, does anyone think P5 will also come to the 360?

Yet another reason why the jrpg is dying. 2015 and its not next gen? I would like to pick this up on ps3 as much as to next guy ( I dont own a ps4) but sony really needs some games that r going to move ps4 units in japan. And it will probably be released in 2018 in NA cause we all know that's what happens with jrpgs and the devs dont care about killing off further a genre that is already dead using massive delays as the weapon of choice.
Pokemon.
Non-sequitur.
PS3 son, you can just import.
The sales on 360 were pretty pitiful to begin with for the first game. They were enough to justify keeping the lone sequel to the game on the system for the west. To make sure those few people could still continue the series. If this was going to be a long running series well past this final chapter, I seriously doubt they'd commit to it like they have.
QUICK GRILL HIM FOR INFO

Is that mean Europe version release in 2016?
Are you saying the JRPG genre is finally over? Japan has lost its last ace?
Great point. I'm getting a 3DS XL the day SMTIV or Q are out here.
I don't know that it's fair to call it a big exclusive. This game won't move anywhere near the numbers of a big console exclusive like uncharted. If I remember the sales for 4 outside of Japan were lower than anticipated.Damn 2015 is so far away!
I'm not sure the PS3 is the right platform for a 2015 big exclusive...
Cool beans. I guess Kotaku was about to reveal that the next wave of Persona games were going to land in the West in 2015 and TheTrueSelf scooped them.

Shocking news.
Will wait for Persona 5: Scarlet for PSVita.
It made me laugh listening to the Bombcast after P5's original unveil how Gerstmann just assumed that Persona 5 would naturally head to the Xbox 360 as well. Not at all. I think Arc's doing the 360 port, as I can't imagine Atlus themselves has the staff/time to do a complete port of a new engine game to another platform.
I feel like I'm the only fan of this series who doesn't want spinoffs. The reason I got into Persona was RPGs... not dancing or fighting games. It cheapens the pedigree of the series to me.
=(
Well it's still a year away. I think they are just confirming what everyone assumed after the Japanese version was announced.Still no screenshots. Wow, they announced this super early.
I don't think Atlus gives a shit.
I'm your slave ATLUS ! And I want no emancipation at all !
Final Fantasy XV is "in production."RIP JRPGs. You had a good run,
Persona is a spinoff.
Considering the game won't get a simultaneous worldwide release - which was the excuse they came up with for Arena - I doubt that will be the case.

What jRPG fan ran out or will be running out in a couple months to grab a PS4 for all of it's fantastic jRPG content? What fan would buy a PS4 for Persona 5 if it came out on it? I'm talking American fans at this point.
This isn't a AAA bombshell exclusive. It's still a niche title.
This makes sense to me.
