Who here is still watching pupa? Each episode makes me angrier than the last. Every time I think something interesting will happen it ends. Seriously, what the fuck? They had a pretty good idea for a show and then messed it up with the three minute episodes. And the censorship doesn't really help either.

I stopped watching Pupa early on in the airing because the show ended before it began. And fuck them if they expect me to watch 1 minute of something every week. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made and one of my happier moments. When my future kids ask me what was the happiest day of my life so far was I'll tell them it was dropping Pupa. Followed by meeting their mom. Followed by getting a dog. They're nowhere near the top.

"Imma imprison you so that you don't have to pray anymore, so you can be free after the entire world crumbles and withers away". Even assuming she'll survive that, or that freedom would mean more than dick after the world is destroyed, that's still really stupid.

I know he was some high priest and probably a friend of hers and all, and maybe some Stockholm Syndrome on top of that, but did she really have hope that he'd change his mind, like, right there? Nah, he was long gone.

For having all 12 episodes on one BD-50, I did not see any degradation in video quality. I am sure the single BDs probably had a better bitrate, but I am not going to complain especially after only paying about $85. The Blu-ray was held in a sturdy chipboard box with a digipak case. I was disappointed there were not English subs, but the singles did not have that option either, so I was glad I remembered a good amount of the subtitles through Crunchyroll's stream. Already have the GJ-bu@ Blu-ray pre-ordered so I now await for the April television airing.

I wish I could swap the designs for both shows. That way Tomino gets shit so I'm not remotely tempted to watch the garbage he's going to put out. Instead I'm going to be stuck watching a Tomino show for the character animation. Also chances of the writing being semi-decent are much higher in Captain Earth. Those mech designs in Captain Earth look like a step down from Star Driver.
God damn it, I hate being trapped watching bad anime. Or at the bare minimum, anime I know is probably going to be bad going in.

Pretty sure that was supposed to be a case of a montage of faces around the classroom talking as a conversation happened in real time. It's been done before, simply a way to portray a scene in general. Episode 1 isn't where the show becomes hilariously silly. Episode 3 is.
