The closest thing to a sale is I got the base game and the expansion for 60 dollars before the launch of HotS.

I have finally passed AC: Brotherhood's halfway point where I stopped because of a corrupted save from long back. AC: Revelations here I come.
I am not looking forward to AC: Black Flag save corruption bugs when I do reach it.

A new beta client update just went out and apparently Valve has re-enabled Family View in Offline Mode:

Hosting from Windows XP, Mac OS X and Linux is temporarily disabled
Fixed black screen when encoding with Intel QuickSync on Intel HD 3000
You can now use a game controller in the Borderlands 2 launcher
Fixed controller rumble support on Windows 8 clients
Adjusted controller dead zone for mouse emulation mode to reduce cursor drift
Fixed mouse cursor visibility and shape issues

Hopefully this is a precursor to allowing concurrent library access with at least one other person.

I had every ingame achievement in 3 hours.

I didnt get some steam achievements because they are bugged right now. I have 3 left that are not broken or unachievable but im too lazy to do them (Make the game crash, obtain 10 points in Flappy Goat and do 10 flips in one jump... i should have that achievement by now because i made a 30 flip jump)

They added a few today and i think they will fix the broken ones by tonight. And i really hope they added at least one hour of content.

Edit: Nobody wants to play in Battlebock Theater :(

If I'm going to buy 1 single game this month (I generally wanna wait for the summer sale and complete some of my games), which of these should I choose?

Rust, Gone Home, Don't Starve, Stalker, Banished or Super Meat Boy?

Dont Starve,Rust,Banished or Super Meat Boy. Decide on wich genre you like the most. Dont Starve and Rust are survivale games while Rust is great in MP with a friend but can be really shitty without one. Dont Starve is great for single player and you will dig some hours into it.

Banished is a great strategy game. You will have a great time with it if you love games like Sim City.

Super Meat Boy is a hard platformer. If you like games like Mario but are annoyed that they are piss easy go with SMB.

There is no end to Banished and Don't Starve but both are pretty good survival management games. Gone Home can be done within 2 hrs. Rust is still unfinished and buggy. Super Meat Boy and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. are both pretty great.

EDIT: Is it just me or are our avatars gone?

There is no genre I like the most.

I'm thinking, I really love the 90's setting of Gone Home as I grew up that decade but if it's only 2 hours the price is currently a bit steep. Don't Starve I have for PS4 but would like it for PC as well, while I have been mostly excited about Rust; it's actually the game which made me build my first gaming PC but I have heard there's lots of cheaters in there.

I recently saw Indie Game: The Movie and Super Meat Boy caught me by surprise. It hadn't caught my interest before but it looked stunning gameplay-wise. Stalker is a game I have always wanted but the graphics seems to have dated a bit while I don't really have any strategy games (with no battles) other than The Sims 3 in my library.

Then go for SMB or Banished. Gone Home is overpriced even for nostalgia. And you already have Dont Starve (you seriously dont need it twice now. Buy it later in a sale.).

Graphics are a non-issue for me in STALKER. The atmosphere in it is amazing. There are a lot of mods for the series if you want to up the graphical fidelity.

EDIT: This is for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl alone. There's also one for Call of Pripyat. I don't recommend Clear Sky though.

yea i think while it can look a bit blocky at times it's just so good at the things it does well it doesn't really matter. the atmosphere is just phenomenal, the lighting effects, the weather, the general world design and simply that "emergent" look things have of finding dead bodies you know have been killed by a random situation you could or could've not taken part of.

it's just all so desolate and creepy, it's amazing

How does that PlayFire rewards thing even work?
I logged in with my GMG account and linked PF with Steam since it started, but it doesn't do anything at all.
Is it region restricted?

Not sure about region restricting, but I know once it's hooked up you don't get a flashy screen or anything saying you did it. Hell you won't know if you got any credit until next week. So until then just play some Steam games and get some Steam achievements.

Its beta so give them some slack, it is pretty hit and miss for me.
