Yes, the game mode Drop Zone from MW3 is back. The Onslaught Map Pack is now integrated into all playlists. I assume this will apply to Devastation when it releases as well.

I bought an Xbox One on Friday, so I'm playing this game again. It feels a lot better on this system then it did on the PC and 360 versions. The PC version was a stutter fest. I only played Squads so far, hopefully I get lucky with the dedicated server roulette!

I think I still would be playing this and buying the DLC if they hadn't nerfed the sniper guns. Dicks.

Great idea but I don't like that you can't unlock customization items in that mode. So I mostly play it offline where everything is already unlocked and I can make my squad look exactly how I want them to look. (I recreated Bad Company so I have Marlowe, Sweetwater, Redford, Haggard and Miss July fighting along side me.)
 
So they finally added in the fact that you can't use party chat in Search and Rescue/Destroy on PS4 now. I wouldn't mind if the in game voice chat wasn't worse quality than the party chat!

Picked up Ghosts on Sale for $25 for the XBO since i have the season pass for the 360. I guess I should have asked how many people play on that platform since the numbers are an abysmal 26k last night during prime gaming hours. Couldn't even get a full game for Ground War, the one game type I wanted the "next gen" version for. FML. Ghosts has forever soiled me on COD games. They better make good with the next gen game this fall.

Still very low. I think most people are over the game at this point. Maybe the latest map pack will bring people back for a little bit.

Most I have seen on xbox one is like 35k but I never had trouble finding games.
 
Ghosts is making me look forward to what sledgehammer is going to do.

Not me I loved the competitive direction treyarch took with blops 2. League play kept me interested and playing the game until I got an xbox one. I find ghost leans way to much on the casual side with the dogs, IEDs, field orders and now the dlc with Michael Myers and the predator.

I saw on YouTube when you killed the predator it nukes the map and kills everyone that is not what I want in cod.

After the Titanfall beta I found ghost matchmaking was terrible my clan would always get matched with people in Europe and it made the game super laggy. I'm stuck on the gooser challenge in Titanfall so I do need a break.

Have they released patch notes? I can't find them but I have read the smgs have been buffed.

There was a significant update last night/today that coincided with the DLC release. Hopefully that addresses it. If anyone has the patch notes, please post them here.

Not really anymore. It's a good idea, but terribly executed. Xp is capped and you still have to unlock everything in multiplayer. I enjoyed playing with my squad against others, it's nice to have some dependable teammates. Squad vs Squad can be improved by actually competing against friends, currently it's done at random. A friend of mine for months would only play Squads, so there's some mileage in there.

Not sure if the patch notes are out yet, but all smgs, with exception of the Mtar, have a range increase for damage. I use the CBJ a lot, so it's nice to have a little more viability in a longer range encounter.

This has to be my least favorite call of duty released thus far. And I keep going back online thinking somehow my experience will be different, but no, it's really... outdated in a way. And this is coming from someone who does really well online.
 
Being a run and gun player, with a kd of usually 1.5 in other Call of Duty's...I cannot get my KD above .92 in this one.

Any tips for this style of play in this game? It seems almost impossible...

Use suppressed weapons for a while to give yourself more time to get acquainted to the maps, figure out the hotspots for combat, and work out some routes if you're planning on running and gunning. The suppressor will buy you some time to keep moving before everyone knows where you are, so it's definitely a huge help for getting a feel for things.

My KD 2, run and gun.

On big maps use silencer and grip on mtar-x (reasonable mid range damage).

Sound whore with dead silence and awareness. Always use focus and sitrep.

Stay away from your team mates....Run round and kill...get behind enemy lines and clean up.

Do you mind shotguns?

I have the most fun running around with FP6 or TAC12, muzzle break plus whatever other attacthment you want, all the running perks plus whatever other ones you want. Usually only good on maps with a lot of tight corners though.

The only shotgun I see people using is the bullpup. I don't mind using them but rarely do in Ghosts as there are only a few maps that they are useful in.

Yeah Bulldog is the only worthwhile gun, and only really on Strikezone, I guess Dome remake might work but Xbox exclusivity means I don't know yet, bah.

The other shotguns only seem to work when someone else is using it against me but not when I use it against others!

Are you guys selective with the maps you play? Like do you back out a lot? I've never done that in CoD before, but find myself tempted to start doing that in this game because some of these maps are so atrocious.
Only Free Fall because it is not a map for my style of play. I can't enjoy that map because it is impossible to play solo and keep 2 flags with five people running in with shotguns and MTARs.

If I liked running around with those guns and not caring about winning then I wouldn't.

Depending on the people and their play styles in the lobby I may back out of Siege.

Bulldog isn't all that fun to use.

I don't care if I'm at a disadvantage, using them is the only fun I have in this game anymore. It's a lot of fun jumping around corners and one shotting somebody.

I regularly see 100k+ on 360, the majority of the player base still plays on last-gen consoles it seems.

All submachine guns except for the MTAR-X and the Ripper received a min damage range increase.
The Bizon and the CBJ-MS received a max damage range increase.

Fixed a minor bug where the loadout restricted icons didn't update for clients when MLG rules are toggled.

Make it so that MOTD won't pop up if you are navigating through menus via the Kinect menu auto nav system.

Fix for killcam hitching on Fog.
In private match, SAT COM now works in FFA Hardcore.
 
I'm disappointed that drop zone isn't playable in offline squads (not sure about online). It is playable offline with bots under the MP menu but I want to play with my Bad Company. =\

I haven't fully fleshed out this thought but I wish you could choose 1 or 2 maps to ignore or decrease their frequency. Of course if you're in a party this would be overruled.

But I hate sniping, I have to run around so most of the time I'm lone wolf. So I really dislike Stonehaven and Stormfront.

Also, I need to work on getting my ghillie suit for playing on fog.

I'm not a sniper, but I love Stonehaven (Stormfront not so much, because of it's low visibility, but can be okay sometimes). Just run around the edges of the map. The snipers are always at the usual places. I suggest using a LMG with ACOG or VMR Sight in combination with handle and/or suppressor for stability.

I'm going to try to get the challenge achievement for the first dlc extinction map. Do you guys have any solo tips for it? I heard weapon specialist is the best one
