It's not the health that changes it's the damage and time to kill of the weapons. Treyarch tend to make it so more bullets are needed to kill.
Pretty sure it's the health aswell. It wasn't just limited to a few (or even a majority) of the guns. Kill times were significantly increased all around. And I want blops2 kill times.

I'm fairly sure in all game modes apart from hardcore it's 100 health.

It does make me wonder if Treyarch is kind of pissed at SHG.

I mean they did start the whole "In the Future!!!" CoD with BO2, and presumably BO3 is going to go further into the future.

So what...is BO3 gonna take place in the 22nd century or something (2100s)? Cause SHG has Future Warfare on lockdown with AW taking place 40 years from now.

that was absolutely beautiful. such emotion.. hope this SP campaign bring notable emotions like early COD

Yeah but keep in mind you won't hear this track in the game. It's not from the official soundtrack, it's from a trailer music company called Position Music which only composes tracks for movie and game advertising.

Speaking of the soundtrack i wonder who is composing this time, Hans Zimmer? Ha.

Looks like the same old engine..

As much as I love Treyarch the most out of the 3..

I think there next game will be using the same engine to..

Damn.. Sounds logical for IW to start the new rotation off with a new engine in 2016.

Then again, sounds logical to keep re-using what consumers gobble up.

*sigh*

Skin looks nice on the face, less-so on the arms. Still, if they're hitting 60fps, I'm pretty satisfied with these graphics

Okay.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, developed by Sledgehammer Games (co-developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3), harnesses the first three-year, all next-gen development cycle in franchise history.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare envisions the powerful battlegrounds of the future, where both technology and tactics have evolved to usher in a new era of combat for the franchise. Delivering a stunning performance, Academy Award winning actor Kevin Spacey stars as Jonathan Irons – one of the most powerful men in the world – shaping this chilling vision of the future of war.

Power Changes Everything.

An Advanced World:

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare takes place in a plausible future in which technological progress and today’s military practices have converged with powerful consequences.
In this carefully researched and crafted vision of the future, Private Military Corporations (PMCs) have become the dominant armed forces for countless nations outsourcing their military needs, redrawing borders and rewriting the rules of war.
And Jonathan Irons, the founder and president of the world’s largest PMC - Atlas Corporation - is at the center of it all.

An Advanced Soldier:
Powerful exoskeletons evolve every aspect of a soldier’s battle readiness, enabling combatants to deploy with an advanced lethality and eliminating the need for specialization.
The introduction of this gameplay mechanic delivers enhanced player movement and verticality through boost jumps and grappling, covert cloaking abilities, and biomechanics that provide unparalleled strength, awareness, endurance, and speed.
With the advent of the exoskeleton and newly advanced armor and weaponry, every soldier commands tactical freedom in any terrain unlike ever before, fundamentally changing the way gamers play Call of Duty across all modes.

An Advanced Arsenal:
Harnessing the power of next-gen platforms, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare brings players into the battlegrounds of the future by boasting a new hi-tech, advanced arsenal and ability set, arming players with all-new equipment, technology, perks, and vehicles like hoverbikes and highly specialized drones.
Players can also choose between standard ammunition and an all-new class of directed-energy weaponry that enables totally new gameplay dynamics.
And with exoskeletons delivering a massive force multiplier and unprecedented tactical freedom, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare evolves every firefight.

All of that sounds patchable into COD 4 ... let alone the numerous sequels. Why are we going to pay for a brand new game?

Graphically, not impressed, but I'm quite intrigued by the hi-tech weapons which I assume are loosely based on things being developed right now. At least we all know about the rudimentary exoskeleton.

Could it be that they're actually trying to give a shit about the single player story/campaign for once? Color me surprised.

This is the first CoD in a while I may actually keep my eyes on.

COD 4 had a great campaign. I didn't mind Word at War either. Lost interest in the series after that. Until now. Will still wait for reviews and gaf impressions before sinking my teeth into it.

It had been so long that I forgot about CoD4's novelty. Never played BLOPS 2 though, so I can't offer an opinion on if that one was good. I just know that sequels and sequels of convoluted military babble and last minute hand grabs while jumping towards a helicopter had lost me on the series a little while ago.

I highly recommend playing the Black Ops 2 campaign then, i was very surprised how much shit they gave about the story. It's an awesome, twisted rollercoaster ride full of surprises, and if i remember correctly this game has 6 different endings. It's been a while since i've played it but i'd even rank it above COD4 but both are really really good compared to the other Call of Duty games.

Those exo suits look ridiculous to me. Really lo-fi like Elysium, I mean the handpart is directly strapped around the hands and fingers with no gloves in the art posted above. I mean really?

Having the exoskeleton being around the fingers also makes no sense.

Gripping something really hard (which is what I assume the thing does) would just mean you're crushing your own fingers in between.
