I'm really torn on PC or Console, The i7 thing is confusing

This is the only reason that is keeping me from buying that game.

Even god damn Metal Gear Rising had both proper minimum and recommended system requirements listed on its Steam page.

ps4

they are really pushing it with this shit. 52gb for this game holy fuck

Get used to it, for "AAA" titles at least. Blu-ray in both systems means developers are going to be taking advantage of all that space frequently. Hell, the size of some launch games should have been enough to show you of what's to come.

My Shopto order is processing already, if past purchases are anything to by I'll get it on Friday. This is super early even by their standards.

I really hope this game is good. Escape From Butcher Bay was one of my favorite games during the Xbox era, so I'm confident that MachineGames can deliver.

Holy shit at this 5 to 7 GB patch nonsense. I guess I'll have to my copy home right after I pick it up so I can play uninterrupted on Tuesday night.

Same.

I suspect it is so they can ship it on Friday or even Saturday with it launching on Tuesday. Getting it for the weekend would be great mind you!

Game launch on PS4 is not stopped if game detects patch. You can start playing immediately [but you will maybe missing some features and/or encounter bugs]. All PS4 disc games must be bootable and playable if the console is offline.

Right. I just want to get everything installed/patched before I dive in.

I am completely stuck on what to do guys

I got the PC version from game.co.uk for £20, I have a strong PC with a 780, however as it is a single player game I would tend to buy and sell it a week later, obviously I can not sell on a used PC version

so do you think the Xbox One is a better version as I can get it for £40 finish it and sell for £30 I expect

but will the PC version be much better than the Xbox One version?

Rage was a complete pile of crap on PC (even worse on ati cards). Get the console version and flip it. Buy pc version for 5 dollars at Christmas.

Edit: fixed auto corrects.

Similar situation for myself, I am getting it on PS4 just due to the ability to resell it.

There's none at the moment (I think?), gametrailers and machinima did some yesterday.

I think at this point people are expecting/hoping for a leaked (or irresponsible reviewer :p ) stream.

yeah, they reckon there will be lots of replay value, but I am a play for the story type of gamer, not one to collect everything etc

I'm the same, and steam sales have spoiled me so I'd rather trade in and get as good a deal as I can after playing through.

It's going to be 1080p/60fps on Xbox One and PS4, so get one of those versions if you have either console and want to resell it.

Yeah, I just decided to buy the shit out of this game. Footage on youtube looks great. Ex-Starbreeze? Sold.

Now then, impressions from those who have it, please. Anyone have the Xbox One version? I'm vacillating between PS4 and One on this. Both 1080p and 60 FPS, but I like the One's controller better for shooters.

I agree with you on the Xbox's controller for FPS's, but damn, how long will it take to install the game/DL the patch on the Xbox?
