Looks great, I really can't understand the hate in this thread (and every thread about the game, actually). Apparently people already made their minds about it.
I'd like to see if there's going to be different kinds of enemies and weapons in this game, that would make me more interested in it. Of course they need to show more stuff about the gameplay, but I'm not going to judge with less than 2 minutes of game.

The game looks absolutely amazing. I won't comment on gameplay because we really have not seen much of it. I think these teases have been just to prove the graphical fidelity they have achieved. Cannot wait for a more in depth look at E3.
And you don't think the same stuff goes on in Halo or Gears of War threads? Do you remember what it was like for the past year in xbone threads?
Like I said, post specific examples of a poster doing what you're saying.

Looks god damned gorgeous, but they picked the worst part to show. I'd rather see some "fast paced on a horse drawn cart shooting", rather than "dragging a guy as slow as possible shooting". I'll wait until E3 to make my judgment.

Nice sounds like it's a non-issue and I did think it may be an older build. They probably did not want Sony releasing this footage and I'm guessing the new stuff at E3 will be beautiful.
As performance was my only major gripe with the footage I'm very much looking forward to seeing more next month!

What if the Order does "Gears" better than Gears though? I know I'd be MORE than happy...Why should it have to do something completely different to be a massive success?
I think I understand the reasoning behind showing this segment. It's exactly what the press had seen last year and the rest of us never got to. With the embargo lifting on Tuesday, this is basically a 'catch up' video. What I don't understand is why they had to do this on twitch. Terrible quality and so much stuttering!

But despite those things it didn't really look to offer anything new gameplay-wise. Just to be clear I'm basing my opinion off everything we've seen so far. Yes the story and setting seem interesting, and I'm sure they'll have some great weapons, but so far I haven't seen any of that translate into some new, interesting, fun looking gameplay. Now what should it do to look fun and interesting? I don't really know, and thankfully it's not my job to know. But I'd just like to see something (gameplay-wise) that I haven't already seen before in TPSs. Which is why yes, based on what I've seen so far, and despite it looking absolutely incredible, I'd describe it as generic. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong when the game is finally released.
The gameplay looks very dull based on every clip they've shown so far. Haven't followed the game much besides watching the trailers, but is The Order doing anything special aside from the pretty visuals and a slightly unconventional setting?
The weapons look kinda interesting so I feel the lack of multiplayer is a missed opportunity.

Graphics are pretty damn good. Laughing pretty hard at all the generic comments. But hey if 1 min of gameplay is good enough to cross the game off your list then so be it. lol

They seemed to be going for the monochrome look. It's a stylistic choice, and it would probably be less offensive looking if it wasn't completely devoid of contrast because of the video levels being incorrect.
Really? Why are they showing it now then? an old build with clear framerate problems and tearing >.> someone in Sony's marketing department needs a slap.

There is no way that is ten month old build. Sure, they can have stability problems with newer builds, but if the most stable thing they have is something from ten months ago they have much greater problems than what method they use to show their gameplay. As for the gameplay itself, it certainly looked pretty, but was the stutter and what not in the posted youtube link due to the stream, or was that the actual gameplay. If it was the games actual performance, man have they got a long way to go if they are planning on putting it out this year. Also, I can understand people saying it looks generic, and I would agree with them, but I loved Gears for what it was and if this game offers up something similar that would be pretty cool in its own right.

But it was dumb of them to showcase the game like this. Straight to Youtube would've been better.
Graphics look superb. Fantastic lighting, great detail, and a very clean look thanks to the MSAA. Has a very CGI-style look to it.
Gameplay looks good. Not very different from a Gears-style cover shooter, but it looks pretty well-executed. It probably has some kind of interesting gameplay that we haven't seen yet though.
