So freaking hot and humid in Miami, I made the right choice not going to the England Honduras game. I'd be absolutely dying at the stadium.

It's better than footballfan, I'll tell you that.

But seriously I like it. Go for it imo.

Edit
Any other options btw?

It's a lovely sounding name, but I wouldn't rule out Sharkeisha just yet.

Haha it's not quite for me, at least not yet. The idea just popped into my head and figured I'd sound it out.

It's a nice name, but quite common.

What else have you considered?

For a relatively unusual name starting with A, what about Avril?

See, now, I like Avril but I can never use it cause of people I knew who had the name.

My other considerations included: Veronica, Aly, Katelyn
BTW, this really isn't for anything immediate guys - I'm still young! :)

Italy's lineup against Fluminense:

Mattia Perin; Matteo Darmian, Ignazio Abate, Gabriel Paletta, Andrea Ranocchia; Thiago Motta, Marco Parolo, Alberto Aquilani; Alessio Cerci, Lorenzo Insigne, Ciro Immobile.

Hart Johnson Baines Gerrard (c) Cahill Jagielka Henderson Rooney Lallana Sturridge Welbeck

Guessing this is what Roy sees our first team as. Though probably with Sterling over Welbeck? Fuck knows, but Danny needs a top top game either way.

Would have liked to see Gerrard-Wilshere-Henderson in the middle, if only because that's the setup which would be most likely to shut Pirlo and Italy down without sacrificing all control of the match

Then we'd only have room for one up front though, so the system and personnel around it would have to change.

Yes, my wife got me Dark Souls!

Been playing for an hour, actually finding it as difficult as Demon Souls at the start. Maybe more so as it isn't as clear which way to go or which is the easier route. Beat the tutorial bit easily enough, then move on the open world bit talking about bells or something. Tried going to a graveyard and skeletons wouldn't die and kicked my arse. So went up a hill to a bridge and found the enemies easy. Get to a tower bit with a fire to save progress, get spammed by firebombs but all cool. Some more towers, and shielded undead knight guys, easy enough. Then get a choice of going up or down. I go up and come across a huge boss on a bridge with nowhere to hide and archers sniping at me. I die badly, tried again but more running away this time and die. Alright, fuck that, move downstairs and there is a huge knight who can swing his sword really fast and I always sucked at parrying and I die badly again. Maybe this isn't the first way you should go?

Anyway, England in a bit, hopefully we destroy them like Pulga destroys Wilbs' mum.

Think he sees Welbz as a more reliable option.

Ugh, yep, that is the lineup Woy would come up with, completely unbalanced with 3 guys who want to be strikers.

Welbeck shouldn't be close to a first teamer. And Barkley has no chance does he,.

He looks good in blue doesn't he?

Wow, 'dat mound.

Welbeck wants to be a striker, but he's happy to do the necessary job in a wider position. He and Henderson need to play well to start against Italy imo

Barkley is someone you want to bring on, forget starting with him. Hasn't got the maturity or experience to start in a World Cup finals

Saying that, I would start Sterling so call me a Harry Hypocrite

To be fair (and perhaps bias) Sterling generally plays with a maturity beyond his years while Barkley is still pretty rough

Start both. Need the experience, bed these guys in with proper experience. No idea if we'll get out of the group stages, it will be a huge bonus to them to play.

Then we sign Barkley and Jose can mould him, pls Roman

Roman buying Mallorca after they stayed up, so his son can run them before he eventually takes over at Chelsea. Of course we will loan them players too :)

That doesn't mean he is good at it, why play a bunch of players out of position?

Both played before against Italy, to great effect....

Disagree, perfect guy to storm the game early on. A lot easier to start well and get your noses in front than play shite for 80 minutes and expect everything to turn around with one guy coming on. Midfielders are much better starting a game than coming on.

Pele didn't have maturity or experience when he started, Rooney didn't at the euros either... both are overrated (exp. & maturity I mean). Rooney has experience and maturity now, and is shit.

Yes Harry. :)

Still think Sturridge out wide is a poor decision.

I am hoping he is going to play up front, playing Rooney wide in the last game was a good sign. If not, that makes Welbeck and Sturridge playing out of position to achieve what, playing Rooney in his supposed best position? *sigh*

This is remembering that at international football, midfield is key, keeping the ball is essential to doing well and we have been exposed again and again in this area. If anything I would prefer us playing 5 in midfield and 1 up front, not 3 up front getting in each others way.

.

Because England have precisely zero good left footed wide forwards. No matter who plays there, it won't be their best position.

Did you just compare Barkley to Pele

I'm out

You don't bed people in a World Cup

Yes, I said he would become the greatest player in history just like Pele. /Sarcasm

Fuck me, FootyGAF loves histrionics dontcha, fucking Neymar of threads.

No, I am saying that loads of players come onto the scene at a world cup/euros, including one of the most famous and one of our own. I can throw in Owen too if it helps. I am not comparing them as players.
