Funny thing about Shovel Knight soundtrack is that tracks by Manami Matsumae (Mega Man composer) aren't even the best of the bunch. It's funny because that was a big hype point before the game was out. They're solid but I think overall Jake Kaufman is behind the best tracks.

Yeah everything I had seen previous didn't look that great a leap forward from mid 2000's 2D isometric CRPGs. I do still think though that if someone isn't a fan of that kind of style of game they aren't going to get as much out of it in a visual sense than people with lots of misty eyed nostalgia for the likes of Baldur's Gate and Torment.

There's a few high res pic in the beta thread but really seeing the game in motion is even better still.

Its modern day for one which to me is huge.
Also it's getting updates still as Stomping Lands is frozen ATM for a change to a new engine.

Gameplay wise I don't know. Haven't played either since I'm still a bit weary on early access.

Most of them are people who have access to discounted or free product (IE from MSDN or various enterprise licensing arrangements) illegally reselling the keys. It's very unlikely the keys would be revoked, but not impossible. I bought a Win7 Ultimate key from a service like this circa 2008 ("$40! What a deal!") and in about 2010 the key was revoked. Thankfully by that point I had access to keys for free through educational stuff, but still super annoying.

Hello everyone, we are glad that Shan Gui (Sweet Osmanthus) is out of beta period and out now.
Due to technical issues, Linux users can not unlock achievement at present, I will keep looking at these.
And for now, English translation may have some small glitches such as grammer, the game will keep updating until issues get solved.
