Wow, one night sleep and the scene's gone crazy.
Looks like there's a PS1 Tekken exploit now as well.
wait, if I have 3.30, there is something coming?
What's the Tekken exploit?
I'm not sure anymore. Apparently there was one VHBL game being kept until 3.30 but the vita hacking scene just imploded -

Don't know if that's affected now or not....

Full working and bugless PSX sound can be achieved by buying either Tekken 2 or Sports Superbike 2, they are exploitable, no need for PEOPS.

Okay so, I am confused. Do I buy Gladiator Battle or wait for 3.30 game?
Very. I've kept my old Vita-1000 on a lower firmware to use the 101-in-1 Megamix exploit, but I think I'm going to upgrade it, copy over Z.H.P. from my main memory card to the one with my 1000, and update it so I can download Tekken on it to use when exploit files for Tekken 2 are released.
It's too bad, though. Shit like this is what destroyed the PSP homebrew scene.
3.30 game is Patapon 1 or 2, they admitted that. Gladiator Begins is the only game that's definitely getting the CFW released, but any of those games above could have the CFW ported to it. Someone just has to do it.

This might be end of hacks for a long time because they leaked so much at the same time, so much drama.
Go to store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com. After you login go here, it should show you all the games you've downloaded from PSN. Find the link with .pkg at the end of it. Copy, paste and go.

Also, Destiny of Spirits (Asia) doesn't work. Trying US version, probably gonna get the same result but at least I'll be able to read the error messages.
so excuse my ignorance, what do these hacks allow? psx games? psp isos? homebrew?
So is Sports Superbike 2 not on the US PSN? I can find Tekken 2 for $6 but I don't see SS2. Seems like getting one of those + Gladiator is the best mix we will have for PSP and PSX for quite some time. Shame all this stuff got leaked before 3.30 and Playstation TV.
What in the FUCK? How can these guys screw this up like this over some petty crap? Ill take this over native Vita hacks. I dont want native Vita hacks as that will surely make things worse. The PSP soft hacks are very niche things and dont really get what real hackers want anyways. (plus its a PITA to set up haha)I'm not sure anymore. I haven't read too much into yet and I don't intend to for now but instead of trying to play PS1 games in the PSP emulator, there was an exploit in Tekken 2 to play ISO backups of PS1 games.
If you just want Half Byte Loader and homebrew, wait for 3.30.
Sounds like I should simply wait then. I don't care too much about getting PSP titles back on my Vita just yet, though I would love MonHanPo3rd again... Hmmmm
I just wish I could sign into my JPN account and download titles, then I would have what I want.
Incorrect. Everything was leaked, including the Patapon exploit that we intended to release for 3.30. This means we have nothing left for 3.30 for now. People who wait for 3.30 will mostly be left in the cold, as I expect Sony will patch those for 3.30 (and/or remove the games from their store)
Apologies if the article wasn't clear about that.
Now Im wondering if I should buy Tekken 2 Stat. I really want to have Tobal 2 with sound on the Vita.

are you the one to ask about "Could not connect to PC" issues with QCMA? where can i find that solution?
I just set it up and had the same issue, but some combination of the below fixed it:
Uninstalling CMA (forgot to do it first) and then re installing QCMA
Here's how I just did it:
Install CMA, let it sync with your Vita using the Content Manager on the device, you now have PS Vita/PSAVEDATA in your "My Documents" folder. In it is a folder with a seemingly random name.
Get the exploited save file with the "TN-V" Custom Firmware (uncheck the download manager option, it's malware), either EU or US. The European version is just a folder named "ULES01515SAVE00" with some files in it. Put that folder in the aforementioned PS Vita/PSAVEDATA/*RANDOM NAME* folder.
Download the official PSP firmware, rename it to "660.PBP" and put it in the "ULES01515SAVE00" folder (or US equivalent) which is now located in the seemingly randomly-named folder.
Go to your Vita > Content Management and copy the save file via Applications > PSP/Other after choosing PC > Vita. Exit the content manager, launch Gladiator Begins, load the save file in the game. When loaded, select the "Item Box" option. Your Vita now shows a white or green screen. Hold "R".
You're now in a menu. Go to Advanced > Install 6.60 files. Go back once it's done and choose Exit. Congrats, you can now do whatever you could do on a PSP with a custom firmware on it (e.g. homebrew).
To launch the PSP environment, just do Gladiator Begins > Save > Item Box again. You won't see the menu and instead boot directly into it.
Bumping this for this page, very useful for anyone just checking in. Kind of surprised Gladiator Begins is still on PSN... I think this is the longest a released exploit game has lasted.
Yea it has. I kinda want to download the DLC for it but I am afraid it will mess up the game file. Never tried the DLC. One day I will!!

I'm on 3.15.
So there are still exploit games being needed in order to run homebrews via the PSP emulator?
Is Gladiator Begins the one I want?

heh, this makes me want to buy a psp go ^_^

XS Moto works well. Grab the save from acid leak and transfer like you would for PSP kexploit games.
You still need exploit games, but if you only want VHBL there's a lot of options as of this moment. Look up the page for a list.
If you want the eCFW then Gladiator Begins is you best option, as it's the only confirmed game to be getting it. But theoretically any of the VHBL games could get it, but it has to be ported over by someone first.
This is all for 3.18 by the way.
