What's the Tekken exploit?

Man, I can't figure out how to install homebrew.
My folder structure is like this:
PSP
GAME
Randomhomebrew
EBOOT.PBP
I compress it into the INSTALL.ZIP, then put it into the GB save exploit folder and move it over the the vita with CMA.
I do the exploit, but nothing shows up on the PSP XMB.
This shit is confusing.
EDIT: Okay, I figured it out. I wasn't calling the folder "INSTALL.ZIP"

I haven't read too much into yet and I don't intend to for now but instead of trying to play PS1 games in the PSP emulator, there was an exploit in Tekken 2 to play ISO backups of PS1 games.
All in a day's work! WTF, 50 games with exploits?! Sony's going to have a field day removing and patching alll of those (if they ever do!). Like, what happened? Arguing between hackers that led to this massive leak?. And they still have the PKG extracter that magically (lel) turns trial games to full games, to worry about

Yeah, the article says the 3.30 exploit was for Patapon and Patapon 2, which is in the leak.

The article also says that everyone on of these games could get a CFW Port, but someone would have to it it. Buy Gladiator Begins now if you want for sure CFW access. (I only say this because I just bought it myself before seeing this and am now spiteful. I hope Patapon gets a port because didn't Sony give it away for free a little while back?)

Very. I've kept my old Vita-1000 on a lower firmware to use the 101-in-1 Megamix exploit, but I think I'm going to upgrade it, copy over Z.H.P. from my main memory card to the one with my 1000, and update it so I can download Tekken on it to use when exploit files for Tekken 2 are released.
It's too bad, though. Shit like this is what destroyed the PSP homebrew scene.
Hopefully that "exploit" is able to be implemented in TN-V. Would be able to solve the soundless issue without having to do plugins, yeah?

3.30 game is Patapon 1 or 2, they admitted that. Gladiator Begins is the only game that's definitely getting the CFW released, but any of those games above could have the CFW ported to it. Someone just has to do it.

Sounds like I should simply wait then. I don't care too much about getting PSP titles back on my Vita just yet, though I would love MonHanPo3rd again... Hmmmm
I just wish I could sign into my JPN account and download titles, then I would have what I want.
I wonder if Sony will release a new firmware this week patching all these exploits or if they'll just pull all the games and wait for 3.30.

Sports superbike 2 was only 3e and about 50mb, leaked files for it were on Acid_Snakes twitter. I bought tekken 2 too but it's hundreds of megs.
I think if on fw 3.18 in eu and you buy Gladiator and Sports superbike you'l be fine on hacks for now. This might be end of hacks for a long time because they leaked so much at the same time, so much drama. Sony is going to patch everything.

Pretty much. People that do have exploits won't be willing to share them now. They'll keep everything to themselves.

So is Sports Superbike 2 not on the US PSN? I can find Tekken 2 for $6 but I don't see SS2. Seems like getting one of those + Gladiator is the best mix we will have for PSP and PSX for quite some time. Shame all this stuff got leaked before 3.30 and Playstation TV.

What in the FUCK? How can these guys screw this up like this over some petty crap? Ill take this over native Vita hacks. I dont want native Vita hacks as that will surely make things worse. The PSP soft hacks are very niche things and dont really get what real hackers want anyways. (plus its a PITA to set up haha)
Im very sad. Like now PSVITA TV wont get any hacks and thats the one unit I wanted to have with emulators and my Vita to be up to date all the time. Damn.
Incorrect. Everything was leaked, including the Patapon exploit that we intended to release for 3.30. This means we have nothing left for 3.30 for now. People who wait for 3.30 will mostly be left in the cold, as I expect Sony will patch those for 3.30 (and/or remove the games from their store)

To clear this up.... there are no 3.30 game exploits anymore. Patapon was being saved for 3.30 but will now be patched just like every other game leaked. If you're waiting for 3.30 for VHBL you're going to be out of luck.... 50 games worth of exploits mean that if anyone wants to hack the PSP emulator in the Vita, that everyone is going to have to start over from scratch.
This leak may have actually killed the PSP scene on Vita that's how big of a deal this is.

I bought it just to have it, I'm not even sure if I'll use the exploit but I always would like the option. Since I also used this commotion to update to the latest firmware I'm going to use this chance to download/backup to PC all my games I can off the PSN before there's a newer firmware version.
Everything being released now might set back the scene by quite a bit, but all this leaking and new exploit types certainly are interesting. Wish I had more than a 4GB card to play around with all this though...
are you the one to ask about "Could not connect to PC" issues with QCMA? where can i find that solution?

I just set it up and had the same issue, but some combination of the below fixed it:
Uninstalling CMA (forgot to do it first) and then re installing QCMA
Disabling the USB Power Hub option from System Settings (Re enabled just now, it reconnected fine)
Using a USB 2.0 Port, not USB 3.0
Restarting in Airplane Mode (Undid this and it connected too)
that did it. thank you. through wi fi though. now to just get usb working

Bumping this for this page, very useful for anyone just checking in. Kind of surprised Gladiator Begins is still on PSN... I think this is the longest a released exploit game has lasted.
Yea it has. I kinda want to download the DLC for it but I am afraid it will mess up the game file. Never tried the DLC. One day I will!!

I don't think you can install PSP Game DLC on the Vita? Or at least all of it shows up as cannot download for me.
I've followed the steps, but when I try to transfer the file from PC>Vita it always shows up as as a corrupt file. Any help on this?
I think you have to upgrade to 3.18 and then buy/download from your list Gladiator Begins like I did because I bought it years ago.

You still need exploit games, but if you only want VHBL there's a lot of options as of this moment. Look up the page for a list.
If you want the eCFW then Gladiator Begins is you best option, as it's the only confirmed game to be getting it. But theoretically any of the VHBL games could get it, but it has to be ported over by someone first.
This is all for 3.18 by the way.

Pretty much, it's really bad to see strife among the major devs.
I like the perfect PS1 emulation, but this whole leak could be a major dampener on the Vita scene.
Didn't want Tekken 2 because I'd rather keep the xploit games as small as possible.
XS Moto works well. Grab the save from acid leak and transfer like you would for PSP kexploit games.
To trigger the exploit, you go into options and load the save file. Then proceed to race or whatever the first option is and you'll enter a menu.

I wish I'd known the files for XS Moto were out. I literally bought Tekken 2 and Gladiator Begins less than five minutes ago. I've got my 2000 updated and downloading the games and my 1000 is updating. I need another 64GB memory card.
Which one is the one I want for PS1/GBA/SNES games with sound?
Ah, do I have to update to 3.18 for these to work?
Sorry I haven't been paying attention to the Vita hacking scene for a long time.
