And I am glad that you like these games. I think they look great, but play mediocre, as I wrote, but I guess I should have added an IMO in my comment to avoid stuff like this. Like I wrote in my last post, it was a stupid comment to make since I dont want to derail the thread, as all of you, I hope this game will be great. However, for my taste, that means some different design decisions than what is usually taken at Sony.

Putting this in spoiler to avoid more derailing:
God of War has incredibly dull hack&slash-gameplay that is very repetitive- looks great though.
Resistance/Killzone is not worse - or better - than Battlefield/Cod - but to stand out in this crowd you need to be special, which they are not, thus mediocre.
LBP is completely ruined by the jumping.
This is all my personal opinions, and I am as I said glad you and other like the games.

I wonder if this is sorta like a throw back to Turok one. The guy on the dino looks to be attacking it, not controlling. It could be some kind of low tech humans fighting back against some high tech entity. This makes me happy. I absolutely loved Turok 1.

Was Guerrilla made simply to follow in the footsteps of Bungie? This is so odd. First they try to make a Halo killer. Now it looks like they're trying to ape Destiny.

Killzone 2, was the best shooting on the PS3 IMO. All this anti-Gurrilla nonsense is simply that... nonsense.

It's guaranteed that the tech for this game will be eye opening. That's what GG do best, along with visceral gameplay, and excellent gunplay. A 3rd person RPG from them could really be something special, especially when it involves prehistoric mecha-saurs.

Also, how long before Destiny falls below Killzone Shadow Fall on Metacritic?

That is some damn fine looking concept art. Interesting to see how the game compares. I am so glad to not only see them working on something other than killzone, but on something that seems like it could actually be pretty fresh.

Tentatively excited. Hope for 3rd person.

I really don't get this either. Like really how do you make the link between these two pieces of concept art and a whole game, there is nothing in there that even remotely resembles Destiny.

Yeah... it's weird.
I thought they were talking about the other concept-art images. The two in the op are in no way reminiscent of Destiny.

I'm sorry if this has been answered already but do we know for sure what genre this is? I know I heard rumors about Guerrilla developing an RPG and I hope this is one.

Edit: Ah so still just rumors of an open world RPG. Hope they're true. A MOBA wouldn't make sense at all so it isn't likely to happen.

Ha, God of War II one of the greatest action games of our time? Uncharted 2 merging cinematic and gameplay seamlessly better than any developer had done before. LBP which allowed users to generate millions of unique levels? I dunno man, I think your using a slight blanket statement there regarding Sony first party.

Granted KZ SF wasn't the greatest gameplay wise but I think GG are up to it

I'm happy about another RPG coming and have respect for Guerrilla's technical skills but the big metal dinosaurs look goofy and it looks silly shooting them with pop guns and arrows.

If I was, why would I single out some firstparty titles like Ico, Shadow of the Colossus and Demons Souls as great games? And why would I (as I wrote in my first post) get a PS4 for Bloodborne?

A medieval/Pocahontas looking girl with a compound bow, an semi samurai/eastern looking assassins creed guy with a spear and some sort of whip an old dude with a bear skin on handling an 18th century pistol and a modern looking tomahawk.. and people thought destiny was all over the place art wise.

Personally, KZ2 is up there with the greats of console FPSs: Halo CE, Goldeneye, Timesplitters 2, etc. Was my go to console shooter for 3 years. I know GG has a lot of talent and I consider their game design a lot more creative than they get credit for.

Why are people saying it's like Destiny? It doesn't even look like Destiny. AT ALL. Or a MOBA? You're tripping.
And if Shinobi is to be believed it's a third person game with a red haired woman as protagonist.

This game has nothing to do with Destiny besides being science fiction.
