Hide behind the rock in the northwest corner of the room after clearing the initial mobs that are there (before big ogre guy breaks his chains). While you're hidden behind the rock only a few knights and thralls will aggro you and the rest wil ignore you. You can also hide behind it to avoid Boss projectiles.

That's my spot exactly. You can even ignore the Knights that spawn above you eventually. Just don't go far enough out where they can see you or they'll jump down.

Only reason legendary isnt guaranteed is because there isn't enough variety of items in the game yet. Which it needs. Different stats within the same colored items is also needed badly.

Seriously? How are you people finding these things? I only have like 3 and have been searching all over. I've even had people in strikes point me to places where it seems they should be but there's nothing there for me.

Internet. Took me a few hours to find all of the chests. You don't get anything good for collecting them all though

Well, in my experience proponents of monarchy aren't exactly on the left political spectrum either. And I live in Austria where political parties trying to reinstate monarchy are actually a thing.
And Dead Orbit are emo gothics.

Wish there was a faction I could relate to.

Which is why I like any typical uninformed civilian, I favor whoever has the cooler looking stuff. Unless they vote to defund the postmaster. I'm not trying to pick up my own greens.

Are drops and rewards the same regardless of mission difficulty? I don't wanna kill myself trying to solo the daily mission at my level (24).

Anyone here running raid groups on PS4? I'll be 28 tonight, super keen on attempting the Vault with a coordinated bunch of people. (My last group flaked within 30 minutes)

Hit me on PSN if so: Aaronalex

Just wondering who else head glitches the shit out of the Archon Priest from atop the tall mound of rocks near the arena entrance? Definitely the best spot. I head shot him all day from here and he can never hit me.

Only thing you have to worry about are the fusion rifle fallen every once in a while that spawn on the other side of the map. Plus, a bunch of shanks always bunch up below you so you can just drop a grenade and you have an ammo cache if you need it.

That is exactly what must have happened - just when I needed it most it was gone, in a matter of seconds.

Gotta say, I don't see the point of an invulnerable bubble if a boss can just handwave it away. That's like having invisibilty until someone looks your way.

With that being the case, both Titan supers seem craptastic when it comes to bosses. Can't ground-pound them as they all have a wicked counter-punch, and can't make a bubble to survive their boss attacks either.

As far as bosses go that's the only one that's able to make it go away instantly. Barring Raid bosses of course, I've played the defender a ton on all the strikes and the bubble is fantastic.

It's not like they have enough supporters to get into general elections. So it would be wrong to assume they were representative of Austrian politics. And such organisations/parties - the phenomenon of their existence isn't exclusive to Austria either; they're all over Europe. It's pretty sad, actually.

But anyway, back to Destiny. I asked this a while ago and didn't get a satisfying answer:

So there's one thing about weapon stats still leaving me somewhat confused. If Impact means "damage per bullet" then how does my sniper rifle have only slightly higher Impact than my AR? Would that just be a bad sniper rifle, or what? I'm still able to one-shot enemies on hard 24.

Regarding the motes of light for the speaker, isn't that totally pointless? They seem to never have stats, so I'm wondering why they exist. You can only have one exotic weapon/armor piece, so wouldn't that just screw you over? Or do class items not count? On the other hand, spending the motes on Xur for an engram is LOL NO with how those turn out.

They're aesthetic items.

They're legendary, not exotic.

Only exotic items are limited: 1 weapon, 1 armour.

I like that purp drops are rare, when a game showers you with high end loot like d3 or bl2 it becomes totally a non event.

The vendors are in there to makeup for rngesus.

Only change to make is show purp/yellow engrams as blue if they are going to give blue to avoid the bummer.

There are numerous videos on YouTube showing where they all are.

I know but I'd like to avoid them for at least a bit longer, I tend to give it my all looking myself and just do a clean up from videos if I'm starting to burn out on a game. I'm probably gonna have to look sooner or later though since the burn out just isn't happening.

Just soloed the level 28 daily heroic. 17 deaths and 30ish minutes but I felt accomplished lol. I wouldn't advise it to be done solo though, so frustrating at times.

With that said though, if anyone needs a member to complete their daily or weekly (any level), send an invite to PSN: GhostFaceDon. I'll be on for the next couple hours at least, grinding up vanguard/crucible ranks.

It would be -kinda- awesome if the numbers really worked like that.

It would certainly be an interesting idea. The better the community does at collecting resources, the better gear is produced for players. I know WoW did some community events where players work together to unlock something for the world. Maybe Bungie put that in...

I've seen explosive round weapons in PvP. Shit is annoying as hell.

Though if I level up Thorn I might try using a handcannon since it'll add some DoT.

The speakers items are legendary, not exotic, so there's no penalty.

No, I believe you get some ascendant materials at level 24 and none at 22. I did the daily 24 yesterday at barely level 25 myself and it was doable.

I soloed the earth weekly heroic strike mission last week at level 22, it took me around about 1 hour but it was a lot of fun, the arc burn modifier helped a lot though. Not sure if this weeks one is doable solo, i will probably give it a go at some point.

The Monte Carlo is difficult for PvP, the fire rate is high but the impact is really low for PvP.
Fun weapon just need more practice I guess.

Blue in my first legendary engram. Siighhh. I guess I can't be too upset considering I did get two legendaries from two blue engrams.

I'm still stuck at level 24, had absolutely nothing but rubbish drops today, don't think I'm ever going to get out of it until Xur comes along again. I have 23 mote of light and 15 strange coins just waiting to be spent.

I'm sure everyone feels this way, but man.... it sure seems like when I play around 10 or so crucible matches, finishing no lower than 2nd, with a 2+ kd.... I get like 5% of the loot my teammates get. Played with one dude for 3 matches, and he got a legendary AND rare for three straight matches.... I got nothing 3 straight matches. :/ It's pretty crazy how often everyone on my team gets at least a blue, and Im left wanting.

I know it's random, which is nice for the players who are new to this type of game or not as good, but man..... it'd be nice if it were a little less random for the better performers!

Holy shit. Just saw someone get the Monte Carlo AR as a reward in the Crucible. Didn't do very well, literally just got an exotic weapon for the shits and gigs. I know the whole thing is random, but that seems crazy out of balance.
