Got my Rainmaker today - not surprised the asking price seems to have tanked. I'm keeping it anyway.

Sold mine right away for 80. That powershot effect is not worth 80 bucks in my opinion and WR is my favorite hero.

Even pro players lose their discipline sometimes. You can tell Alliance were really shook by that wipe and immediately spread out to rat hard for the next 10 minutes, all to avoid blowouts like that one.

I'm not sure I follow you, what to me would cause visual confusion would be spells or item activation that are too similar visually so you wouldn't know which one is used or heroes/champion that have similar profiles while also having similar colors.

Look at Halo games for examples, each weapon has a clear shape/profile that makes it easy to know which one your opponent is using at a glance. Same thing with the covenant. Every enemy subtype has a clear profile while those that are similar are color coded.

Having skins that radically changes how abilities looks and hero/champions is what I would consider confusing.

edit: also having clear visual feedback.

ex: Bloodseeker's ult makes it clear that its a bad idea to move.

rupture was the infamous example used by riot to talk about burden of knowledge and how the visual made no sense and youd just run around in a circle confused and frustrated that youre dead

Riot was talking about Dota 1. There was no blood gushing out of you along with a bubbling sound if you moved in Dota 1. Hell I don't even think the initial Rupture had a sound.

Oh yeah, I always found that example confusing, because if I see my hp going down and there's a red trail behind me and there's no trail or hp going down when I stop, I usually assume running in circles is probably the worst thing to do.

But yeah, I think Dota has great visual feedback when stuff is happening.

Also, I'm confused. PL's Juxtapose says the Illusion cap is 8. So logically the max units you'd have without Manta style or an illusion rune would be 9 (the original PL who is not an illusion and the 8 illusions). So why are alot of people on reddit saying the max is 8 with 1 PL and 7 illusions?
