I can't see that $399 price at FS or BB!
It was in store and not online. I saw the price last Thursday while looking for some PS3 games. I didn't check the FS flyer for any promotion, so might wanna check it out in store.
Edit: this was just for the console, not bundled.

Ok, they might be clearing whatever standalone consoles they still have cause all they have online are bundles!
I wouldn't be surprised if they bring the standalone price back to $399 though, with all the bundles they introduced it came down to that price anyway!
I'm crossing my fingers that this is going to happen. Probably going to check a few out on Wednesday.

Yeah, if you have a Shoppers Drug Mart that is pretty good with stocking Nintendo games you have a chance to grab it early. They are terrible for street dates.
God damn Amazon is such hit or miss these days...
They shipped one of my E3 orders - Shadows of Mordor PS4, Natural Doctrine PS4 and Persona 4 Ultimax one day early so I have them on release day.
But when USF4 came out, they waited a week to ship it. I seriously don't understand.

Yep, Future Shop and Best Buy always gets the game to me on release date and sometimes even a day early.
Amazon is hit or miss though even though I have Prime. Some games will get to me on release date and some games will be a week late. Maybe it's because I only have a trial for Prime and am not paying for it.

My E3 pre-orders from Amazon.ca so far:
Atelier Rorona Plus: shipped a week and a half late, and then when it did ship it went missing for a few days, which led eventually to me getting TWO copies after I complained = 14 days late
Tales of Xillia 2: a week late before I complained and got them to ship a copy out for next-day delivery = 8 days late
Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: shipper day of release, which was the Friday before a long weekend = 4 days late, 1 business day
DanganRonpa 2: shipped with Destiny = 7 days late
Destiny: shipped the day before launch = on time
Theatrhythm Curtain Call: still no sign of it a week and a half after launch = 13 days late and counting
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax: shipped today, should arrive tomorrow = on time (expected)
Amazon.ca weirds me out.

Ummm, that is not True. I have about 2 Grand worth of Preorders from the E3 deal at Best Buy, I get charged as each game ships and that is with PayPal.
So, the credit card that I used to place some E3 preorders on Amazon, Best Buy, and Future Shop is going to be cancelled before some of the games ship. When I call up each of the respective Customer Service departments, what do I say to get this fixed with the least amount of pain? Also, does this mean I lose my E3 discounts?

Canada Post has pretty well paid employees (union) and the shipping business is really low margin I imagine. Most people don't want to pay extra for shipping when they order stuff.

Depends on where you live. Actually be scared regardless. Amazon is so wonky with their shipping it's better to just expect it to come late anyway.
I've had games come on release day (Bravely Default, Demon Gaze) but at the same time I've had shit come in stupidly 1 week late (Blazblue CP, Neptunia Rebirth).
For example. I am currently using 2 day shipping on my Amazon E3 pre-orders. One of them is Persona 4 Ultimax. Some people had theirs ship already. Mine is still preparing for shipment aka they're probably using the package as a chair as they sign away the other packages.

In my experience the delivery estimate is useless.
A lot of my games had delivery estimates that were like a week after release, but they shipped on time anyway and got to me on release day (though, I'll admit, I'm downtown Toronto so my location is good).
Still, I wouldn't put much stock into that estimate.
Just checked online, and I haven't been charged either. Maybe they're waiting for the Teddie Bop Bags to come in
