Lost all credibility.
Maybe it's too late to hope for it at this event but if they continue doing these I hope they live stream the panels and announcements like Blizzcon and SOE Live do.

The OP says there'll be live streams but I wonder how comprehensive it'll be, like will it just be the ps.blog team commenting on news or actual full length panels.

Has a date been announced for the VGAs this year yet? Because someone needs to create a mass avatar bet for whoever boards any hype train for anything prior to the end of this year. A choice of options, and those who choose poorly, have to wear a Knack avatar for three to four months.

What if it was a Knack avatar with "mad paint skills"? And what if everyone wears the same thing? What then? You all might lose your identity. Nothing left. You won't even know who you are anymore.

Edit:

A better idea would be to force everyone to wear a Batista avatar. An army of Brotistas.

Fuck that translation just made me so hyped. If it will set the internet on fire then it must be a game that was a multiplatform or exclusive to some other platform, or a reboot of a old series.

If it is something that'll make people rage, then I really can't think of what it would be. Mostly because the obvious games that would make people rage just seem like they'd be hard to pull off as exclusives at this point. Those would be something like Fallout 4 or Mass Effect 4. I can't see Sony landing either of those as exclusives. It'd be a huge surprise if they were even able to land either as co-marketed games. And it seems way too early for either Dragon Quest XI or Resident Evil 7 to be announced.

But it may be a Bayonetta 2 situation where it's more about a game with a very hardcore following, but the actual game isn't necessarily a huge seller. But I can't really think of any games that are like that but aren't on the PS3 or PS4 already. Well, other than Bayonetta 2.

Honestly I think its Dragon's Dogma 2. Can't see any other game causing that amount of rage. That or a new DMC.

I want to create an army. Not of Knacks, but Batistas now. And these hype trains are the perfect time for it. It's time this cycle of five stages of GAF pays off for someone at least. It may as well be me.

You can only choose one option. And whilst there is a right answer, that doesn't mean there isn't a wrong one. It's not like I know...

Your choices:

a) SCEE announces a first party exclusive to be released in 2015, which is not a re-master.
b) SCEA announces a first party exclusive to be released in 2015, which is not a re-master.
c) SCEJ/A announces a first party exclusive to be released in 2015, which is not a re-master.
d) SCE announces no new PS4 exclusives, but one or more re-masters to be released in 2015.
e) SCE announces no exclusives at all.
f) A new exclusive from Capcom is announced for PS4.
g) Next generation Mass Effect is unveiled (footage, title etc.).
h) Street Fighter is announced as an exclusive to PS4.
i) Rockstar unveils their next generation game.
j) Valve announces an exclusive for PS4.
k) Knack 2 is announced.
l) A new IP by a third party is announced.
m) FFVII remake is announced.

I think its very fair. The time limit is from when you take the bet until Christmas Day. You lose if your chosen option doesn't come to fruition by that time. The chosen option has to be fulfilled as written. For example, if SCEE announce a new exclusive, but don't mention it's releasing in 2015, you lose. I've given an easy out, and plenty of reasonable choices I feel.

But don't take the cowards way out. Live dangerously.

If you lose, I choose your avatar and you have to wear it for 4 months. But it can be whatever. You can't modify it. You have to wear it as a symbol of pride.

Don't think you it's a little unfair, that if you lose, you get to decide the kind of avatar you get? Surely, we are all more reasonable than this as people of the human race.

Damn, this thread's getting good.

Gonna think about my bet, definitely will be chiming in. I think the amount of days before the event you bet is doubled and that's how many days you have the knack avatar for.

I don't even know the exact bet but Verendus's list is small time. Studio Japan will unveil Legend of Dragoon reboot, to release either in 2015 or 2016. Forget your your peasant vague choices, I'm throwing out the name
