Give us a GTA Collection with GTA III, IV, Vice City and San Andreas remade using GTA V "Next Gen" as base.

I would pay like many money for that.

No big deal on audio, surely? Put the older music files from iTunes or wherever in the SA folder and boom, old audio back?

Same with the Crazy Taxi PC port, yeah?

I was going to go into town earlier to pick up a pre-paid £10 card to buy San Andreas with, but then, a miracle! With the days going cold and clocks going back, dreading I would have to go out into the cold cold world, as I prepared the San Andreas page to download the game for my return, I spotted something...

£8 in my Microsoft account that I had completely forgotten about. HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN! Used some of that £8 to pay for the game. YAAAAAAAS! :D :D :D

I'm downloading it right now, I initiated it on the console (360) though, not the webstore.

I've actually never played this, watched my wife play it a bit when she went through it at the time but that's about it, very curious. Does this version have online multiplayer?

The game never featured online multiplayer officially, on any console or PC.
I believe there is local 2 player though.

The only reason the PC version has online is because of unofficial mods.

All I really want is 360 pad support. It's been the sole thing preventing me from replaying one of my favorite games of all time.

Hmm, the only reason I mentioned it was the download confirmation screen text on the 360 mentioned something about that, but that was probably a boilerplate copy/paste of some legal thing, ah well.

Yup, my game remains unistalled because of this, and no, I don't want to install anything third party to get to use a pad. I'll just wait for this if it ever comes.

You're insane. 3rd party mods are like, 50% of the pull of the PC platform.

It's not showing up in search on the web store, but using the link above and then changing it to CA (for Canada) brought it up for $3.74. Bought! Thanks for the heads up. I'm pretty surprised at the price, that is way, way less than I was expecting. Unless it really is a price problem and it will be $14.99 later on.

I'm fine with mods, not saying I don't use them. But like I said, I'll just wait for the official ones for this particular title.

How come they're not boasting it being an HD Remastered? Neither the title nor the description of the game has the word "HD" or "Remastered" in it. They don't even say anything about better draw distances and achievements support either.

Forgive my ignorance because I'm sure there's a really obvious reason but why wouldn't this be out onto next gen systems rather than the 360? Why wouldn't the XB1 not get it?

Hard to say really. It seems like a no brainer.

I'd purchase it in a heatbeat if it was out on there.

Well, thanks for making me realize that I can mod my game and go ahead and start playing with a pad.

Don't know why I didn't think to do that before...

P.S. You should try to be more open towards modding your games on PC. It's one of the best parts about owning one!
