Hey Amiibros!
I've finally launched the amiibo fan-site I've been working on for the last ~month:

I'm relatively new to web-design and it's still very much a work-in-progress (I'm sure I'll have several things to update after today's Nintendo Direct!), but I've already compiled quite a bit of content about amiibo figures and other Nintendo action figures & toys that I think you'll find interesting.
I'm open to suggestions about improvements and/or future additions for the site so please check it out and let know what you think!
On a related note, I tried amiibo-tizing my avatar but I can't get the transparency to work for some reason.
It shows up fine here but when I upload it as an avatar it adds a white background. :S
If anyone would be willing to help me figure out/fix the issue, it'd be much appreciated!!

I got today my first amiibo from Amazon and i am very disappointed, is it normal that amiibo figures look so bad? I am thinking of canceling my Toon Link Preorder.
In my experience every Yoshi looks kinda rough. Yoshi was one of my first and I was disappointed (looks a lot like yours), but I got Diddy and Donkey today and the Amiibos just continue to impress me with their quality.

Anyone have a spare Pit? I keep looking to no avail and it's the one I plan on giving my cousin for his birthday early next month. Any ideas? I got him into Kid Icarus on 3DS and he's just recently gotten into amiibos. Thanks in advance, boys!

That might be because it's over the allowed size limit. I had that problem once too - then I reduced the dimensions slightly, and it worked.

Went back to my local TRU today to see if I could snatch up the two Marth they had the other day if GAFers wanted to trade for them but they've already been snatched. All there was there was Samus, Peach and Kirby.
I've opened my Marth but he isn't a character I would originally buy. If anyone has a Villager, opened or not I'd be willing to trade my Marth for him.

My favorite thing is how amiibo that are retailer exclusive and already long since sold out are going to have extended features in new games! Wait...
I hope that it might be a good sign, with lots being stocked in stores. Except maybe Shulk.

I'll be updating the OP when I get home from work.
No Daisy Amiibo is terrible.

I wouldn't say the scalpers are sweatin', just another opportunity for them.
But this mean they CAN make more, preorder with time and you should be fine.
