For those who pre-ordered on Best Buy, does anyone know when the standard shipping will arrive? Should I call them and try to upgrade to Express to get my New 3DS on release date?

It said for mine it'd arrive on Thursday Feb. 19th. I read from others who picked 1-day shipping from other outlets that took pre-orders they still wouldn't get it on release-day. Not sure about BB.

I don't think there's any guarantee on the day, to be honest. It should arrive within the week the order has been shipped though.

I have no idea if it is accurate, but I seem to recall my order confirmation on the webpage saying that it wouldn't arrive until the week after release. It didn't give me the option to use expedited shipping (which should be the default for me since it is free I think). My emailed confirmation doesn't have a date and the site doesn't have one either atm, so I've been waiting to see if they send me an update before doing anything.

First post nails it. Scalpers are completely ruining the 'special edition' side of gaming.

Funny people are interpretting it as "fighting scalpers" and not took too many orders.

Like you really think Best Buy would be that altruistic?

All systems should be limited 1-2 per address, period. I'm sure the more elaborate scalpers have ways around this, but it would resolve a lot of issues.

As long as there's limited editions, they will always exist unfortunately. They know dedicated fans will eventually be reeled in and buy something regardless of the absurd listing. In reality, neither the buyer or seller is really losing anything out of that transaction.

Thanks for the link! I saw it immediately and only just now got my order through. After trying like 10 times and it saying my CC info was wrong, my bank actually called me to make sure I was making these purchases. The woman unflagged it and my order went through after that.

Great it hung on the order processing page and recommends calling them to see if the order went through.

Edit: Well whatever. Congrats to anyone that can get one. I'm not wasting any more time on their site. I figure if it goes through I'll get an email or a surprise at my doorstep one day.

I only bought one and only got one confirmation e-mail, but my bank statements shows two separate $205 charges... This worries me

I'd say stop pressing that button at this point, because the orders may go through and then all of a sudden you'll have multiple $200 charges on your card you need to go through a refund process for.

The same thing happened to me. I almost didn't answer the call since I was trying to order from my phone haha

I'm done trying to get this. I don't want it anymore. It's hilarious to me that I have $200 ready to spend and I have to play the "sit on the internet all day and pray some new retailer makes it available" game. Good luck to all who want one, but I'm done trying to get one, and this nonsense has really soured me on ever upgrading tbh
