5 red question marks obviously refers to Persona 5. It's not a question of if they're going to show off Persona 5; it's a question of how much they're going to show off.
Just a reminder folks. No waifu shit.
Also, YOSUKE!? He's like the most boring character in P4.
It's been so long ago and I know times have changed, but how did Atlus handle P4 information from its announcement up until it launched? Just how much can we expect to know about P5 before it launches?

Could be worse. They could've picked Teddy.

Seriously. I mean, he's cool and all I guess, but #1? I dunno. Also, YOSUKE!? He's like the most boring character in P4.
Well, don't say that yet...wmlk said:Famitsu revealed Persona 4 in March 2008 with a 17-minute trailer and released it four months later in July 2008.
They had a massive blowout of information. Clearly, times have changed and how they release information has also changed.
Well, don't say that yet...
I dont remember that, was that in the anime only?Yosuke is a bro
He's always there for Yu (would have linked the anime pic with Yosuke comforting Yubut couldn't find a pic for that)after the whole Nanako thing
Seriously, didn't know Yosuke was disliked so much
Nanako is my fave though <3 followed by Naoto. I do like Yosuke a lot though.
5/5/2015 release date calling it now!
i wish

I'm more surprised that Rise and Yukiko were so low. I would've thought they'd both be higher with Rise being as fun as she is and Yukiko being as down to earth. I thought both were pretty standout characters.
At least Kanji wasn't near the bottom. =/

Well I remember that pic bin the anime but I dont think yosuke confronted him in the game since no personality and no need for a confrontation. The pic? yeah. Though Yosuke did comfort Yu in the game as well iirc after the spoiler'd bit.

Well since I don't remember and can't find a good pic of that scene...
I'll post this instead
Hugs ^_^
I like Yosuke. But in terms of plot, and overall character design, he's not even in the top 5 more interesting characters in the story.
I was busy all day, can someone tell me what the ??? thing at 9:40am was, and what they're doing right now?
I was surprised to see Yosuke at #1 but now that I think about it, it makes a certain amount of sense. I'm guessing the other characters were more popular with one gender or the other, whereas Yosuke was probably moderately popular among both men & women which pushed him to #1. He's also the first major character you meet in the game so he gets more screen time than just about anybody else.
Yosuke is integral to the plot. He's the one who's personally involved in the murder mystery and his story isn't complete until the end. The other characters exist only to make up the episodic adventures in the middle of the story.
I liked Adachi.I thought he was a pretty interesting villain. He seemed pretty realistic, mid twenties, bitter about life choices, entitled, a manchild, misogynist, he's more relevant now as a character than ever before.
I suppose people could be voting for him for the wrong reasons, like for stupid memes or something. But to me, he's up there with my favourite characters.
Dude... that guy is Bro tier. He doesnt get angry at anybody even trough everyone is a dick to him. And he sticks to the group even after some kicks to the crotch.
And in the end the only problem he has that they could come up with is jealousy.
I think he deserves to be number 1... at least after all those dickkicks.
Goddamn, my list is like...almost the opposite. Chie is still high up there, but Yosuke is just your typical annoying perverted teenager. Adachi...I haven't finished the game, and I expect there's a plot twist involving him because he's such an "extra", but he is pretty annoying and whiny right now.
Yukiko is topsies for me. Rise is cool, Nanako might be the best little girl in a video game, and Kanji makes me laugh heartily. I understand not liking Marie, though. I'm iffy on her right now.
Just to be clear to Shouta: I'm not rating the female characters in terms of "waifu" potential. I just mean in terms of how much I've enjoyed their roles in the story. Or, in the case of Chie, I love her battle stance and Galactic Kick assist. Both just fit her so well. I wish the other characters had more animated stances like she does.

First off, no I'll Face Myself (Reincarnation) in place of The Almighty or New World Fool is surprising. Also, no Iwatodai Dorm in that list is a travesty.
Memories of You was always going to be first. Just look at the top 10 voted back in 2013, it won that time too and Persona 4 Golden had just come out.

II like P3's darker atmosphere more, but I've always felt there was a disconnect between the characters; as if you, Junpei and Yukari were the gang and the rest were peripheral, almost like "grown ups" doing their own thing. The fact that I can't stand Yukari adds salt to the wound. In P4 it feels like everyone is part of "the gang", as if they are a group of friends (YOUR friends) that actually enjoy hanging together, and that adds so much more warmth to the offbeat story scenes. I couldn't help but smile pretty much every time there was a story event with them.
