Just kidding, but it's weird that back in 2004 they made something that looks jist like an Amiibo except this one is made from solid metal it's not just painted plastic. They gave them as a memento to platinum members to comemmorate the touch DS show where they sent out special tickets to all platinum members to let them get hands on with the DS before anyone else while at the show you were given a Mario statue.

Maybe i should buy a regular Mario crack open take out the NFC chip and put it in the base of the one i have as it has a hollow metal base with a plastic cap. Instant one of a kind Amiibo

Now this, this is something I would pay a small fortune for. Solid metal, no stupid stand.

Seriously, congrats on being the 5th person just today to quote my tag (which I got for arguing that Origin is a decent PC gaming service)

He might not be the sharpest, but at least he's blunt enough to say that.

I'm used to it. People use that when they are too lazy to attempt to craft any sort of actual reply. I just find it odd that people will complain about the difficulty in getting Amiibos, then jump through hoops to support it.

I could post a not-funny picture about humans or something like that, but I can do that on another time. IMO, when you like something that much you start to hate it, then love it again, then hate it. I've seen that happening with relationships close to me (friends with boyfriends/girlfriends), so this "Goddamnit I hate amiibos, they suck" and later on "Oh my god, I need that" isn't all that uncommon. Another example: World of Warcraft, I've seen some friends hate that game but still play more than 12 hours a day, cursing Blizzard the whole time while they were doing daily quests or raiding.

And those are just Skylanders.. this is Nintendo! Just imagine, gold Marth, gold Pit, gold Falcon, gold Rosalina. $_$
