And you most likely never will, they are beyond rare, maybe a 1% chance you will get one.

Other than the super rare goofy reload animations it's still a Battlefield game, it's like Battlefield 4 + DLC content.

I feel like after a few minutes in any FPS, I pay so little attention to reload animations I'd probably miss it, with my focus trained on the action outside of my own character. By the time I noticed something was different, it'd be over

See, if EA took a page from Bad Company and made the cops in Battlefield Hardline into the cops from Police Squad! or Reno 911, THEN I would totally buy this game day 1. I don't want to play amped-up riot gear cops, I want to play BUFFOON COPS.

EDIT: Understand that when I say 'dying' I'm pretty sure the franchise is making more money than it every did. EA's marketing department deserve the credit though, not DICE.

Dying franchise? Why do people hate battlefield so much? I think hardline has potential to be a really good infantry focused BF game. The modes in the beta are all really fun and the changes they made to class loadouts make a lot of sense.

I don't hate Battlefield, I loved it up until the travesty that was BF3.
BF4 was a better game, but released in an unfit condition.
Hardline is a horrible Battlefield game which takes big jumps in CoD's direction. The new modes are fun, make so little sense that the objectives are totally counter-intuitve, and remove any level of tactical coherance the game might have had. The trademark destruction is virtually absent. As a bonus, the menu/UI is one of the worst I've ever experienced.

I've edited my comment. The franchise is probably making a tonne of money, and Hardline may yet have the best single player mode in the series history. To anybody who enjoyed playing Battlefield before BF3, this game does nothing to scratch the same itch.

I'm just hoping that DICE don't mess up Battlefront so that, at least, is worthy of the name.

Yeah because they totally had to re-allocate all of the studio's ressources to do this stuff, and not just have a couple of animators have fun for a couple of days.

I wish the whole game had this tone. If the single player was more like Bad Company but with an incompetent police squad bumbling their way through a crime story that would be way more intriguing than the super badass cops thing they're going for. And I wish more games would treat classes like TF2. Not just different loadouts but give each class their own personality. There's already so much shouting in the game, go the extra step and make it entertaining and charming. Then you can sell hats. And I wish I were an Oscar Mayer Weiner....
