The worst part about the word "Kickstarter" showing up is that it means the game will take forever to be released
like... november 2016
They just came together as a studio not even 4 months ago, this game is a long way out.

Don't see a goat since it has a long tail, but i do see possible roman theme with that skirt armor thing, don't know what they call that, which is what they wore so yeah maybeThat character looks more like a roman goat than a knight to me.
Im so hype right now about this.
Wish there were other ways to pledge to kickstarter other than credit card, because i totally want to back this as soon as it goes up.
I doubt it will be done by November 16The worst part about the word "Kickstarter" showing up is that it means the game will take forever to be released

No hotlinkingThe pictures in the first post are kind of pale
Change them with these if you dont mind:
Do you know anyone excited about this, that isn't also a Nintendo fan?
I hope they're brave enough to skip the consoles where it won't be a big hit, For instance, I really don't see it getting that "THEY'RE BACK!" reception on PlayStation.. Go Wii U exclusive and push the system to its limits, like Rare used to with N64. That's part of the old Rare magic for me, and a spiritual continuation of that collaboration where the Nintendo version isn't the version, just feels wrong. Xbox and PlayStation gamers are too likely to ignore it in favour of Destiny 2 or whatever else is hot then. If this is as good as they obviously want it to be, then it deseves full attention, and that will only happen as a Nintendo exclusive game. They're welcome to prove me wrong, but I feel the potiential lack of appeal on PS4/XBO might hurt the overall reception and maybe even change how Playtonic continue with future projects.

Rare fans are everywhere and keeping it wii u only would be unwise.

So I guess it's confirmed that they're the main characters.

It's already coming to PC, so Wii U is the only other essential platform really.

What an awful idea. The n64 was 20 years ago. There isn't any less evidence that n64 gamers (if they are even still gaming) didn't migrate as much towards PC, ps and Xbox over the last 20 years as they would towards wii u. Nostalgia can be such a stupid thing sometimes.
Wesley from Eurogamer here. We're uploading it to our YouTube channel as we speak and will update our article when it's live.
I've also got a text recap up on Hardcore Gamer.

While I am a Nintendo fan as well, I think of myself as a Rare fan first and foremost when it comes to Playtonic.Do you know anyone excited about this, that isn't also a Nintendo fan?
Doesn't make sense to make it an exclusive unless they make a deal with one of the platform holders.

I'd be funny if Sony bought them, if only for them to have a full big 3 Bingo.

Game companies can't just...buy a company that hasn't even put out a game or had any sales yet.
Imagine if you were head of a game company and you hear some garage band team was going to make a new Crash bandicoot spiritual successor for a new generation, would you just buy them on the fly without knowing if they'll be a success?
This must be the reason why Sony hired George Andreas. They knew that Playtonic was coming sooner or later!I'd be funny if Sony bought them, if only for them to have a full big 3 Bingo.
Weren't Portal & Left 4 Dead kinda made that way?
Imagine if Nintendo bought BRB. That would be pretty hilariousGame companies can't just...buy a company that hasn't even put out a game or had any sales yet.

Yeah, i wonder why they put all thos games in their presentation slide, i mean, they havent made a game as a team! obviously this mean their experience in the industry is null!
Your analogy is flawed and i just said that as joke, i don't actually want them to be bought any time soon.
Could be a kickstarter stretch goal (optional voice acting)I hope they do the grunts instead of voice acting.

Wait what?Fans will probably be able to "voice act" (i.e. mumble into a mic)
I think they confirmed that today. Fans will probably be able to "voice act" (i.e. mumble into a mic) if they put enough money into the kickstarter.
