Loadouts on a 32v32 is not a problem to me...you are basically taking it from an arena shooter to something more akin to battlefield...having control over your loadout is good in that situation

Sometimes it was incredibly hard to find matches. +20 minutes searches and whatnot.
Gotta push the story somehow post Halo 3. He saves the human race from extinction, saves all sentient life in the galaxy from extinction, is missing for five years, locates the Infinity, holds off the Prometheans and then gets shit from Palmer and then later Del Rio, lol.
Chief will get the last laugh against everyone.
I imagine Chief would just say hunt with a 'c'.

I have this crazy theory, among many others, that Chief is going to be tracking down a shard of Mendicant Bias on the tattered remains of The Ark, and that will be his "in helmet" companion for a chunk of the campaign until he teams up with Locke or resurrects Cortana or some other new characters becomes his vocal foil/narrator. One thing we know for sure is that MC doesn't go long without a companion, either in his head or by his side.
Given that the Composer (remember, there's more than one, and the JANUS KEY can lead to all forerunner installations and artifacts) can theoretically be used to reverse the flesh-to-data function, it's entirely possible that this might be at least attempted.

Will be interesting to see whether 343 kills off Chief in this one, or it will be a boring conspiracy thing where Chief convinces Locke that he's on the wrong side and they fight the evil ONI and Forerunners.
Nobody seems to care all that much. Wondering that myself though.

They aren't. It was confirmed several times by 343i and even by Frankie in an other thread. Chief won't be killed or replaced.
You can find out about his fate in a poor comic series called Halo: Escalation. You probably won't like what you will see, if you care about Halo's story, though.

This has nothing to do with the existance of the product. It's story related, so I don't see why he would lie here.

Don't see how this is a spoiler as Master Chief is expected to be in Halo 5, since it's not a spinoff title and the continuation of the Reclaimer Saga.

Well, they 'killed' off Cortana and she was up there with Chief. Yeah, we know he's in Halo 5 but I fully expect him to die in some form.
I find it a little bizarre that Frankie 'confirmed' he wasn't dying. It seems like a weird thing to just lay your story out there like that. It smells off to me.

September release makes sense. 3 and Reach had success there. Destiny had success there and after Halo 4 I think Halo needs to get away from COD and I'm assuming Battlefront comes out end of October/early November.
I'm all for an open world campaign. I never gave up hope after reading that pastebin leak. I just hope they handle the story well if they do go that route.

For those bringing up the 343/Frankie confirmation topics... 343 and Frankie also said that ADS wouldn't be in the game but that showed up (I have nothing against this). When that came out they said ADS wouldn't have any advantage compared to hip fire other than being able to zoom in which was also not true since it decreased bullet spread and based on the post Beta notes provided a headshot bonus (this I do have a major problem with). I'm not saying 343 are outright lying and I don't have anything against Frankie, I appreciate his posts, but taking any 'confirmation' about Halo 5 story/gameplay from them before we see the game needs to be done so with a grain of salt.
I obviously don't expect them to lay their story out in advance or particularly confirm or deny rumors but honestly I'd rather see the normal canned "no comment" instead of all these confirmations that turn out to be the exact opposite.

I'm willing to bet it's the real deal. Obviously not everything on it will come to life since it was posted in 2013 with the game still in early development but it seems to be lining up.
