This is the last I'll say about my opinion on this. I was HYPED because I thought this was an epic single player campaign trailer with mind blowing visuals that would tease into E3. My hopes were up, and the trailer reminded me of a Killzone 2 commercial that has been posted already. That's all.

Its very un-Microsoft/Halo, even with Gears and their other games the main character is always front and centre, big on the box, I don't mind the upside down thing but Chief should be at the top imo.

In the Kilo-Five novels a pig plot-line is the father of one of the S-II abductees joining the insurrectionists (pre- and post-covy war) to find answers/punish the UNSC after he began piecing things together. Perhaps John's mother or father (both?) will similarly come into play? I wouldn't be surprised if ONI somehow brought his family into the mix what with John going AWOL.

There's a few lines of difference in the bios given on the site; one (with ONI, UNSC, and UEG logos above it) omits his primary medium (public radio) and his covering of governmental (in addition to military) affairs.

ARGs for Halo are a huge deal for a lot of fans though. It's almost tradition (ilovebees being the most popular).

I've got no problem with it being an ARG, anyone thinking it was something else was nuts. My problem is when you raise hype with a countdown and employee statements for the equivalent of "lol see you next week." Launch with some substance and people won't complain.

In halo anniversary terminals, there was a ship crashing in One of the installations where 343GS was . 343 GS was excited about Those visitors that never came out of that ship. Who were they?

My main hope is, if they reveal some story in these, they find a way to put it in the game too. Halo 4's main issue (in the story) was so much was left out, people who didn't follow external content had no idea who the Didact, Librarian or anyone was, nor what was happening.

Interesting marketing concept though. I enjoyed "Serial" so if this is a fictional version of that set in the universe I'll give it a shot.

Now that the initial hype and disappointment have crashed: Chief being labeled a traitor will have to connect to Halsey somehow. So I wonder if that's what the "SON" on the bullet relates to? Halsey was a mother figure to the Spartan IIs.

And will the journalist be going into details about the Spartan project and it's horrors or just the Chief's history? Questions and answers I would like.
