Something is really bugging me about how trees sway in the wind. It's like they're moving too fast or too much or something.

Anybody made a gif with the lady showing off her magic skills while siting on the horse near the beginning of the trailer?

Here you are, good sir.

BTW forget the downgrade talk that was going on, this trailer is GORGEOUS. I mean those graphics in a massive open world game? Dear Lord Almighty

Edit: Also the "racism" part might seem weird to those unfamiliar with Witcher games but its actually heavily important to that Universe. The people in Geralts world are extremely racist. In fact there are wars and stuff fought over it. In many areas humans, elves, and dwarves are enemies

Two undersized snaps from two low quality videos of two different interior scenes.

What are you trying to show us exactly?

You could argue that the top image has better lighting and tangible atmosphere, whereas the bottom scene looks flatter and has no atmopshere at all... but I'm just hoping, like you said, that they are different scenes entirely. Still, you expect them to show off the best.

LOD is the most concerning thing to me now. Seeing distant terrain, buildings, and trees looking much worse now than they used to. But I think it's going to be a long, long freakin before we start seeing better distant LOD. That's probably brutal on VRAM.

They should have not released the trailer so soon. Its still about 40 days away from release.

For me the wait for TW3 is going to be as hard as it was for GTA V in 2013.

He is basically just standing closer to a pointlight in one. That is really the only appreciable difference in "lighting."

No, there's a definite disparity in the shadows (or lack-thereof) on NPC's and objects in the scene (like the furniture). They don't seem to be casting or receiving shadows of the same quality as the first image.

There's an image in this thread of the foliage being a definite upgrade, so it's not all negative.

Be that as it may, it's the way they delivered and wrote the line that seemed kind of weird.

Was going to buy this on PS4 because I wasn't sure my HD7950 was up to the task, but then I got the PC version for $20 so I'm happy. Also get to bring in my save from Witcher 2 as well apparently :)

Hot damn! Really wish I hadn't seen that trailer. Thankfully I watched with audio off so that only spoiled half as much. My most anticipated game this year, and it's going to require a new rig to play.

It may seem that way and I understand, but it is by far one of the most prominent ethical themes in the games. In fact the entire Act in Flotsam in Witcher 2 and its destructive ending is about race. The Universe of The Witcher is very very dark in terms of themes. Its a messed up place.

Next to a window during a different time of day. Those shadows are from the sun.

It sounds like there is still more to come. IGN and Gamespot both have multipart video features they are rolling out in the next couple weeks and there'll probably be a launch trailer (or 3, like they did with W2).

Ahh, I want it, but I am kicking myself for buying Dragon Age day 1 and never finishing it, because I got really bored with the story and repetitive quests and combat

This looks much better, but Ill have to wait

Yes I read that yesterday.... I also read somewhere that IGN will be posting some spoilerish videos too.. so I will try and stay away from those.
