Probably my most wanted 2015 game, now that Zelda is delayed. Looks like it'll be the best Yoshi game since the original. Hopefully they release the SNES original on the Virtual Console to commemorate this games release. The GBA version just doesn't cut the mustard.

Not overly wowed by the visuals(not sure what it is, maybe the lighting in Mario Kart has spoiled me) but it looks decent and more importantly, hopefully the level design is on point.

I'll get it for sure though because I missed Epic Yarn and the developer seems very capable.

So close to 3D Yoshi game I can feel it! One day Sunshine and Galaxy 2 will have their Yoshi mechanics fleshed out even further for the first ever 3D Yoshi game. Yoshi and Kirby are the only ones built on 2D platformers without a 3D platformer arent they?

It looks like Burt the Bashful is the first boss. Hopefully bosses don't get recycled too often, or if they do I hope there are some outrageous twists. The 2nd looks like some sort of Spiny that Lakitu threw out but for some reason it has a giant single eye. Looks brand new as far as I can tell.

I am itching for more 3D platformers too, but I am also itching for a good Yoshi game, so I don't mind this being 2D. Sounds grindy.
Marx! Kirby have such great final bosses. I beat Triple Deluxe a few weeks ago and Sectonia was a really fun battle. I am actually trying to 100% this game atm.

Helper to Hero is a bit mind numbing but it doesn't take SUPER long either, it's a fairly short Arena sort of affair that ends in Wham Bam Rock (or jewel?). I think you can grind it out in an hour or two and it can build your appreciation for certain movesets you don't normally use much.

And yeah, Kirby games usually have really nice final boss fights, it's something I dread in some games. 3DX has some cool optional bosses in it's side content too.

I believe Chomp Rocks are whatever color the Yarn Egg thrown at them was, at least for the ones that were Chain Chomps

Oh, that's a cute touch then. I still hope there are classic silver and red nosed Tap-Taps in this--I think there were a couple different colors in the original anyway though. I imagine those and the giant golden Tap-Tap will be back since even Artoon included those in YIDS/YNI
