Nintendo Downloads - April 2015

Dash Kappei

Not actually that important
Btw, I asked this before but afaik got no replies:
In a totally "I know it's stupid AND basically impossible" way, did Pandora's (and now S&P2 -which incidentally is one of the greatest games ever made-) being completely playable on the gamepad thanks to CC support, change anything for the disc based/sodtmod usbloaders version of the game too?
Is it something Nintendo coded in the ISO wrapper, an update or something modders/hackers would be able to inject into other releases in the future?

So yeah, anybody with Pandora's Tower on disc tried to see if they can play the game solely on the gamepad?

edit: whoops, meant to edit my previous post, sorry

Angry Birds Star Bomba

More like Steal bomba!
Such a ridiculous price. How freakin' different are these releases from the mobile ones? I mean, even with an AAA platform game attached to it it still wouldn't be a fair price but alas

I think I answered this before already when you asked it the first time. No it did not change anything because there was no firmware update.

What's this Kirby Star Sticker game? NEVER herad of it before.
Also gotta remember to grab the 2 GB Kirby games when I get back home DX.

Has Fantasy Life ever been on sale? I'm sad to say I don't keep up with eShop sales much, and even though I love my 3DS it has been greatly neglected in the past 6 months or so.

Whoooa I almost missed that. Star Stacker is one of my favourite Game Boy puzzle games. Definitely worth the 1,49€. Probably will get that and 3D Adventure this week.
Pinball Land and Block Ball are also neat but I doubt I'll ever want to play the again.

Given that it's the type of game people sink hundreds of hours into it's pretty much worth full price, but if you'd prefer to wait for a sale that's your prerogative.

There's a few crowns that require a bit of thought, but the bonus worlds are definitely where the "I can only manage one level right now" is at.

I can imagine they become much more complex for sure. I was surprised I zipped through worlds 11-13ish last night. I think they were much easier than some of the preceding crowns! I'm sure it will get much tougher soon though.

That's correct! Kirby did not start getting copy abilities until Kirby's Adventure one year later. Every Kirby platformer or platforming spin-off since then has had some variation on copy abilities included.

(Except Mass Attack. Kinda. Although you could argue by being split in ten Kirby's expanded moveset is copy ability-esque....)

Nope, that wasn't introduced until the second game, Kirby's Adventure on the NES. Odd little thing that copying abilities wasn't part of the original design but now it's such a huge feature about Kirby.

Wow, the more you know.

What did these games looked like when played on a GB Color btw?

I was gonna get me an N3DS XL this month of May but after checking my budget...alas gotta wait til June XD.

Anyone have a good step-by-step guide for formatting a 128GB micro sd card? I bought a 32, but after downloading Xenoblade, Resident Evil, Donkey Kong and Monster Hunter 4, I realized that's not nearly enough room.

So, I apologize for saying Mighty No. 9 is the next big-name indie coming to Wii U. It's delayed until September and is now published by Deep Silver.

Okay, so it's Dream Course and either Magic Mirror or Super Star for me.
Is Magic Mirror good as a Single Player game? It was intended as a 4 Swords style game, right?
Super Star over Amazing mirror. Super Star might be broken up in several smaller games but they build in complexity and play very much like a best of. Amazing Mirror is trying something different with no levels but rather a big connected world that is fairly non-linear instead (even with pausing to look at the map and lots of routes to the hub world some players wind up getting lost or frustrated trying to make their way around the world). Two of the modes in Super star have similarities to it (great cave offensive for collectibles, though fairly linear which makes missing some annoying and milky way dreams for non-linear game play).

Both games are a good time over the course of some hours.

The thing about that is the 4 player in Amazing mirror is it actually becomes fairly unplayable if you are in a different room to the other players as the game lags rather unpredictably. One of the speedrun marathons plays it:

The 4 player bumps up bosses HP. Given you can use the phone to summon the 3 CPU Kirby in single player you would think the bosses HP would be built around that.

Err about those paint shooting games....
Interesting that they made them, but I also mentioned 'kid friendly' sorta like what Splatoon's going for. A design that appeals to younger players would've helped the game if it were ever to be made.

At any rate, now the long wait til June to see if I'd be able to afford an N3DS =_=

I refuse to buy any games pre-made DLC, can't support that nonsense.

I did bend for Fantasy Life's 'Day 1 DLC' but I could justify that as, being the Japanese expansion pack, it was a little different.

Well, except for the fact that the entirety of the Fantasy Life DLC was already on the cartridge. I still bought it, because I didn't buy the game itself, but I still haven't even got halfway through the main game.
