So I have been trying to not spoil myself with E3 announcments but I keep hearing that Nintendo wont show Zelda.... Has that been confirmed?

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.
I just want my pants to fly off from these announcements.

I want megaton after megaton.

For all we know it'll be an NX game now. Doubt we'll see it this year.

Since we have no idea what the NX will be, it could be a new handheld or console cross I doubt it.

A 2 minute trailer will keep people happy and they don't have to go into too much detail. Just give us a sence of the general direction.

It's better to assume it won't be there. They released a statement saying it won't be at E3. Even hoping for a trailer is asking to be disappointed.

Dont think thats very likely, we dont even know what NX is.(handheld or console)

I don't know if I'll be able to resist watching this. I think I should avoid it, though. I mean, remember Uncharted 3's chateau section?
It featured Drake navigating this immense conflagration, dispatching enemies, evading flames, etc.
It was spectacular, but it's also precisely the kind of thing that is best left as a surprise when you sit down and actually play the game. There is no paucity of impressive set pieces in that game, but I still would have preferred to have not seen anything related to the chateau beforehand. When I arrived at that area in Uncharted 3,
I was like, "oh yeah, this area; it's going to be set ablaze really soon..."

I think I've seen enough of Uncharted 4. My purchase is already guaranteed. The same applies to the next Zelda. I'm not even really disappointed that the latter isn't going to be at this year's E3 because I probably wasn't going to watch any of the footage. There seems to be a deluge of Yoshi's Woolly World impressions and videos out there now and I'm doing my best to avoid all of that, too.

I'll check out the first bits of footage and screenshots of newly announced games, but other than that, I'm making a concerted effort to curtail my exposure to prerelease media.
Im there with you. But at the same time, I still remember how legit shook I was when I saw the E3 2009 Uncharted 2 demo.

It was an amazing memory in it's own right.

I think this will be the tamest and dullest E3 in ages. Its all in the hands of big corporations and their shareholders now. And those all vote towards phone games. Hope Im wrong.

Visceral is working on a star wars game, so Dead Space is not gonna happen.
It's on hiatus anyway, after part 3 didin't satisfy EA.

Yup. Know that. It was a joke. That's why I'm asking God, duh!
Don't take the above seriously

I wasn't pleased with 3 either, and that's why I would love it. Even knowing the hard truth T-T

Mirror's Edge is one of my favorite platformers ever. The new game is the one I'm most interested to see at this year's E3. The move to an open-world worries me, so I hope they can alleviate those worries at the show.

I wouldnt be worried. Naughty dog got a lot of criticism for showing too much good stuff about UC3, they learned their lesson and showed just enough with TLOU (sometimes just doing bigger demos of the same part on different shows). What they showed of UC4 was amazing for us to grasp the mechanics and gameplay changes, I dont think they will spoil any setpiece

One Week before E3 there is the Tales of Festival (6th/7th June) where the nextgen Tales of will probably get announced + Ps4 Version of Zestiria

Looking forward to it...Small appetizer

Yep, I was surprised how little was spoiled with two years of press coverage of TLOU, and how big it was too.

ND will do fine not spoiling anything important. I'd still avoid any launch or critics' trailers. Now those are spoilerous.

That's true. I only watched the very first demo, but I was pleased with their approach. It demonstrated the gameplay and the strength of the visuals, but it certainly wasn't a major spoiler.

Dont even joke man my heart cant take that. I've been wanting a new ROgue Galaxy ever since I finished playing the original way back when. One of top 5 my favorite RPGs ever.

It does make sense. That type of game on next-gen will blow people away on the visual side alone - so much variety and ingenuity.

Imagine if Sony just does an hour of Indie games and No Man's Sky?

Imagine if Microsoft gets Hideo Kojima up on stage for this conference?

Nintendo?

The hype.

Imagine a world where indie games are better than AAA games.

Oh wait, I already live in that world.

Tomorrow Child, Killing Floor 2, and WiLd are my most anticipated right now so that's fine with me.

Also Kojima still works for Konami. I don't see why Konamis stage choice matters.

I'm glad Bethesda is first. Imagine if they went last...

- Uncharted Collection, Mass Effect Trilogy, Batman Remaster ect. all announced

Then Arcane comes out all like, "Dishonored HD! Wooo! 1 game for the price of 1!" *crickets*

lol, there are a couple yes but i dont live in the same world you do. i crave massive multiplayer games that AAA are cranking out so i can play with my friends. sure indies have their selections like killing floor but i want more. also, i should have written /s in my comment, i wasnt being serious.

well kojima and key figures have left so im assuming they are going to do something on their own since their names carry more weight than konami since they made MGS what it is.
