Since many big news already leak.. What other surprise we will have after all. E3 used to be full of surprises... But honestly, why do many publisher now rather have their news publish before E3 rather than during E3 now..

Figured I should get in on this:

1. Left 4 Dead 3 will finally be confirmed

2. Microsoft will announce huge third party exclusive that will piss everyone off(timed or otherwise)

3. Sony will have an average show. God of War 4 gameplay with one big surprise for their show. There will be a huge focus on Morpheus and few people will care(VR has it's place but not for many many years IMO)

4. Nintendo will be Nintendo and give a good chunk of their core fans exactly what they want. Great Nintendo games

5. Ubisoft and EA will be pretty standard. I think Ubisoft will announce a new AAA IP that will be a survival horror game

6. I'm not expecting much from the PC conference. Maybe Sunsent Overdrive and MCC announced for PC or something? A couple pieces of new hardware revealed? Again, not really sure but I expect there to be a few exclusives shown. Maybe Activision or someone from Bungie will come out an announce Destiny for PC.

7. The Bethesda conference has me interested the most. They've blown the announcement loads for DOOM and Fallout 4. The gameplay they show better be amazing. Dishonered 2? Yeah, I think so too.

I know King Verendus said that Sony has another Capcom exclusive, which I assumed might be DMC 5, but I'm too sure of that since DMC4 special edition is releasing on Xbox One.

It won't make since to Capcom to make DMC5 an exclusive to PS4 if they're releasing DM4 on X1.

It happened with TR (well, timed). Anything is possible when a Japanese pub is on the ropes.

GoW won't be at E3. Cory's said on twitter a couple times that it's too early

I just made a little reasearch about those JRPG Games from Verendus:

in 2013 he said

'Unannounced JRPG 2' will be SCE's second attempt at a big game emulating FF. If this comes to fruition, and is successful, then there is a franchise opportunity which can be exploited. Probably the most experimental project as if it bombs, then they'll never touch anything like it again. I don't think it will though. With the advent of FF15, KH3, and the announcement of FF16 sometime between 2014-2015, Japan gamers will be ready for this. The big question mark is whether they can translate some of that success to the West which will obviously be an aim.

So JRPG2 is the big budget AAA JRPG from Sony.

Verendus said JRPG1 and JRPG2 will get announced this year.

I also remember a discussion, when Verendus said that JRPG2 is such a big game, that it will get announced at E3.

Nope. I said this a couple years ago, but that title will make its debut at E3. That's the place for it

With all these informations i tought, this has to be the Level 5 exclusive (Sony Japan Collaboration with Level 5 - Level 5 talking about an game with bigger scalen than WNK - Level 5 talking about an new IP that will be as big as Youkai Watch)

But he also denied that in this thread

Also, keep in mind, I already told people back in 2013 that Level-5 has a third party exclusive for PS4, but that has nothing to do with JRPG1 and JRPG2

So to sum it up:

That Huge Sony Japan RPG (Sony's attempt for an FF like Game) will be announced at this E3 and its not that Level 5 Game

So two big Japano RPG's will be announced at Sonys E3 Show

HYPE!!!!!!

It may or may not. I almost feel like these guys have to lie to us. Otherwise the surprise or awesome factor isn't as cool. Either way, God of War 4 will be awesome when it finally releases.

If you are right, then the true successor to the legend of dragoon is incoming. I'll be tossing popcorn all over the theater. I wonder what the combat system will be likelike

He already confirmed they were developing a new GOW at PSX, it won't surprised anybody.

It wouldn't be a surprise, just a fun environment to unveil it in

I have class from 6-10 on Monday night. Meaning I'll miss the Sony conference, the only one I really want to see.

How quickly after it's over will it be posted online?

You're wrong, Juan. It wouldn't make sense to announce two big JRPGs in one event that are both from Sony.

This isn't Square Enix. Only they're that crazy.

but what if those JRPG are made for an worlwide audience like Scalebound? That wouldn't be that illogical for an E3 Show

Detective Juan has missed the most obvious thing. But it's okay, so has everyone else, so you're not alone.

A detective needs to be good at math.

Make it 3.

I can dream.

Do you think we will see anything in the lines of Xmen Legends? I just want that gameplay. I know the lore added to the fun, but I'm hungry for it.

Also, where the hell is Marvel Heroes.

People always say or want things like this. I've learned to temper my expectations over the last four or five years. My levels of disappointment don't really exist anymore and I'm much better off keeping the hype down.

I haven't really been excited for an E3 since, can't really remember the last time actually. I usually get more excited for TGS most years.

But man. My gamersense is going nuts. Just so much potential this E3 from all angles really.

It's going to be good. Real good. Could be the best EVER.

What the fact that you said 2 JRPGs from Sony?

We don't even have 1 yet. So you just confirmed that there is 1 JRPG from Sony at this conference. Level 5 JRPG isn't from Sony. Neither is Persona 5.

This conference could have Star Ocean 5, Persona 5, Disgaea 5, Level 5 project, a Dragon Quest Heroes US, Cosmic Star Heroine, Kingdom Hearts 3 and.now this Sony JRPG?

Heaven

Here are our options people:

1. Emphasis on "big". Maybe one of them is a lower budget game.

2. Both from Sony. Maybe one isn't made by Sony at all.

3. Sony isn't Square Enix, but you know who is? Square Enix, maybe Dragon Quest 11 is one of the games.

Well, Verendus' edit shoves a knife through my investigation. So long investigative career.

- Timesplitters HD collection officially announced. After being impressed with that small group (forget the name) of fans' efforts in remastering the franchise, Crytek has taken back reigns over production and will release the collection for PS4/Xbone/PC. Will feature a single online mode consisting of all the maps, character skins, and weapons found in both 2 and 3 and will have custom servers as opposed to the standard matchmaking fare (A game as highly customizable and crazy as Timesplitters wouldn't work in a standard matchmaking way, it would be best for hosts to create their own matches with their own rules and weapon sets and leave it to the player to decide which available matches most fits their tastes) Also, with it being current-gen and PC exclusive, all versions of the game will feature 4-player splitscreen at 60 fps and will have the option available to take all three your local friends into an online game. It won't be too graphics-intensive, really just a 1080p 60 fps version of the originals, but it will be good enough.

This would be amazing. It would need to contain TS1 assets as well for online (Seriously, Peekaboo Jones). My brother and I spent hours and hours playing capture the bag with bots. I don't think there has been a game or ever will be one that has brought as many laughs as the original TS.

Wouldn't one be from Level-5 as a third-party title? (Ni no Kuni 2?) While the other would be SCE Japan Studio's internal game? Thus only one from Sony.

Breath of fire

Has anyone considered that Sony might leave one of these JRPGs until TGS? You know, a game show in Japan.

That Level 5 exclusive is confirmed for E3
That Big Budget JRPG from Sony Japan is also planned for an E3 Announcement according to Verendus (he didn't say which year tough) but since he said JRPG1 and JRPG2 will get announced this year -- E3 2015 for one of them, i guess

Or there's only one JRPG to be announced? You're reading too much into Verendus comments, don't overhype yourselves.

Maybe Level 5 game is the big JRPG2? IIRC, JRPG1 was Bloodborne.

Nah im fine. That Level 5 Announcement would be already enough...But reading back trough his JRPG Comments, i was just wondering....

No he said in this thread, that the Level 5 RPG is an third Party exclusive and therefore not JRPG1 or JRPG2

I think he meant Level 5 has another exclusive for PS4 beside JRPG1. (Probably Ni no Kuni 2)

Sony JRPG should be a revival of Wild Arms or Arc the Lad. Something like that.

Then the big one gets shown at TGS.

There was some chatter about a return to Wild Arms, but that series has always been a relatively low budget affair. Arc the Lad is much the same.

Personally either of those would be a big deal for me, but I don't know that they would warrant a big E3 reveal. Maybe PSX if anything?

According to the IGN thread Sony's conference is only 90 minutes.

Hype deflated.

You gut everything not game related and announce all that this week and hold a 90 minute conference of just game after game and everyone will be happy. I don't really want Shawn Layden on stage rambling or the Powers guy on there again.

Here's what happening. MS conference starts with Banjo Kazooie announcement, showing off 3D open world platformer, all that jazz, and then a stinger where Crash shows up, surprise, MS bought the IP from Activision. GAF explodes, and then just as it's recovering as the conference finishes, MS ends with TWIST they are bringing Silent Hills back as a Xbox exclusive. GAF passes out for hours, Ubi's and EA's conference go on and GAF is still down. Eventually it recovers in time for Sony presser, Sony opens with TLG, coming this fall exclusively for PS4. GAF dies again, dead until halfway through conference. Nothing's happening until the end moment, when suddenly, what's that? Oh my god, a PS4 slim with PS3 BC for $400. GAF on life support until things get back to speed with Nintendo's E3 Direct, where, SURPRISE NX is revealed, coming out next year, with gfx benchmarks showing that it's well above XB1/PS4 levels, all for the same price ($400) with Metroid, Star Fox, SMG3 all launch titles. GAF dead for years. The End.
