Dutch journalist: Guerrilla IP "is RPG", shown during Sony Conference

A third person RPG with viking style warriors fighting giant mech-dinosaurs, with the art direction and visual design of Guerrilla Games, writing from an ex-Fallout writer and quest design by former CDPR devs. I am totally into this.

I'd guess this will be Sony's big game for Holiday 2016. Could be big if marketed right. I doubt GoW4 will be ready until 2017 so I think this will be quite far out. Still hoping for a gameplay reveal at E3!

Vikings fighting robot dinosaurs sounds pretty awesome, but what about robot knights fighting viking dinosaurs? I want a t-rex dual wielding tiny axes and wearing a horned helmet with Immigrant Song playing in the background.

Don't forget Sony will also likely have GT7 as a big hitter next holiday as well.

I didn't know if it was noteworthy (maybe thread worthy too?), but...

apparently Guerrilla Games registered these domains prior to E3 (announcement incoming?)...

Wait, how do we know that GG registered these and not some domain squatters looking to profit?

Edit: Oh right, the person it's registered to seems to be an ex-GG employee (left in May) but currently working at Bungie.

He was also the one who registered killzoneshadowsfall.com

My guess is that those registrations were made prior to him leaving as they date from back in March 2015.

Sky-pacific-rim: The lost world

Horizon is just the codename.

Lol, as if we needed more confirmation, at this point (appreciated tho!)

Now to see if Robo-dino fantasy lives up to how amazing it sounds on paper.

I wonder if they waited for Jurassic World world release in theaters to capitalize on the Dinosaurs-hype momentum... That could be one of the reasons why it was not revealed last E3 as rumored, as I don't believe in coincidence (matter of timing perhaps? especially after Uncharted 4 being pushed back to Early 2016). :p

Thread worthy, I'll make a thread for it.

Thank you!

So this might be actually happening? Hype.

All seems to point to a proper E3 Announcement. For me, domain registration is just as bad as a teaser trailer for an official announcement trailer.

Once upon a time there was a little convention that was going to be jam packed with announcements.

But one week before it took place everything was leaked.

It's a great name. Finding common key words with relevant meaning and grandeur that's not copyrighted is a bitch.
The alternative was to come up with another generic overlooked fantasy name like 'Agerlul: the awakening" etc.

Destiny is another recent and successful example comparable to something like Horizon.

Please make it sci-fi/horror. I'm tired of all these fantasy/Viking/Middle-Earth themed games coming out. The settings are just kind of played out for me personally.

Guess I should post what was learned in the concept art leak thread

- Red-haired female protagonist
- 3rd person open world
- John Gonzales (Lead Writer for Fallout: New Vegas) is working on this.
- They hired CD Projekt Red quest designers and other experienced RPG developers.
- It has co-op (not sure if Shinobi ever made a follow-up post saying if it was local, online, or both.)

Colour me hyped.

Well. Hmmm. I'm not sure what to tell you.

Yes it certainly seems like a fantasy game. Bows, a few guns, robotic dinosaurs, unpopulated expanses, swords. I'm with you on SF horror (Alien Isolation go!) but this game is not that. (On the upside Sony Bend has been making a horror game for the last 3-4 years, so watch that E3 space?)
