People actually thought Ubi was the worst???

Almost every conference so far has been ok to great. Ubisoft and Bethesda are neck and neck now for the best conference though. It's up to Sony, AMD, and Nintendo to deliver next...

People started to say that after just dance

Aisha Tyler murdering RenFaire Ezio in the audience was pretty good. She's such a good host. Hope when one of the white dudes who host late night TV keels over someone gives her a shot. She's great on the crappy daytime talk show they stuck her on, she's great here, she's great on Whose Line. Aisha Tyler 10/10 now 10/10 forever. Overall a pretty good conference with good pacing and some strong content, better than usual for Ubisoft. Pretty happy with it.

Agreed but it seems like some people want the same formulaic host

The conference was alright to me other than that AMA performance we got

Only Sony, Nintendo and Square Enix left. Please Japanese based companies don't dissapoint us with more CG trailers and downgrades.

Jesus Christ, how many team/squad based Tom Clancy online shooters do you need? C'mon, throw in some Ancel game instead.

Other than that, it was typical Ubisoft, but South Park was the first great E3 surprise this year for me and I guess For Honor and Trackmania look fun enough to eventually check out (although I'm not too much into multiplayer). So, basically the best Ubi conference I can remember, even if it wasn't amazing.

Rogue Warrior: Ghost Recon: Far Cry 6: The Division: Wow Brah I Blew Your Nuts Off with a Shotgun: Mercenaries are cool: My Stealth Option Is I Blow Up Your Entire Base with a Bomb: Adrenaline Junkie Drone Wars: Vote Bush 2016: A Tier 1 Special Op: Pre-Order Edition: Wow That Guy Did A Lot of HGH: A Pawn Stars Game: Damn How Many Bars You Gonna Fill?: 3/10. This was Ubisoft the game. I have rated it accordingly.

I laughed so much at this, but I'm still hyped as heck for the game. Looks WAY more attractive to me that the last Ghost Recon.

But seriously, why Terrohunt instead of Terrorist Hunt?

Something lost in translation? Is Ubi sick of the NSA tapping their calls or something?

It was better than anyone give them credit for, even if it had the usual suspects I thing it was filled with content for an extensive audience. To me it seems like the best one so far with a good balance of surprises and expected appearances.

Bethesda: 7
MS: 7
EA: 5
Ubisoft: 8

Or maybe someone that isn't awkward as shit. It maddens me because, Aisha is a strong woman in a male dominated industry but, shes just so terrible at being funny. I feel like I'm missing the punchline, that ezio joke was just fucking bad.

Because Ubisoft does the same shit every year. They are pretty much like the Sonic cycle.

they really didn't though... once the dust settled and you thought about it , it was like:

Halo
Gears
Forza
Fable
some other games (some did look quite good though no doubt)

SOME BC
SOME mods for FO4 (noone is sure how this would work)
expensive ass controller.

I give MS a bit higher mark due to daving some games for gamescom so it was pretty impressive given they are saving scalebound, crackdown.....

BC was huge i think, and the hololense was pretty amazing. Todd Howard did say that they want to bring mods to PS4 too, so that's that. But overall i think they pretty much delivered what the fans wanted right?

South Park: The Fractured But Whole: 8/10. I have no interest in South Park and didn't play the first game, but this was a pleasant surprise. Seems like a high quality licensed product and an interesting concept for a followup to Stick of Truth. I really appreciated Trey and Matt immediately shitting on the goofy looking mics, it's a good thing. Aisha Tyler is such a great host, she handled a real, unscripted moment really well.

For Hono(u)r: 9/10. This was pretty cool. Like a mashup of a Musou type game and Chivalry stuff and the AC combat animations. Demoed well. A lot of the games doing well that feel like this are made by smaller companies, it'll be interesting to see what a full price retail package looks like in the genre.

The Crew DLC: 0/10. No one asked for this.
Trials Fusion DLC: 6/10. Pretty cool trailer, like the Blood Dragon team got creative input on Trials Fusion DLC.

The Division: 1/10. Frankly this is a really good concept for a game that looked visually amazing on reveal and has been absolutely boring ever since. This is year three of the same demo with the same cover shooting, the same fake staged teamplay stuff. It shocks me how dull this seems.

Anno 2205: 10/10. This looked brilliant. Excellent, beautiful visual design, a logical expansion in scope of the series. The moon colony looked spectacular. This is easily Ubi's best and most reliable property. Best-of-breed for sure. And I'm so glad they gave time to a genre that's not normally associated with public-facing demos.

Just Dance: 2/10. Another year, another live music performance (Jason DeRulo is most notable for singing his own name in his songs), and it's still not a good game. *shrugs* The streaming karaoke service is unusual, not sure it'll quite work as well as karaoke music does. By far the most interesting thing of the Just Dance segment, anyway.

Rainbow Six Siege: 7/10. CG trailer was stupid, made me think Splinter Cell or conventional Rainbow Six. Angela Bassett is a-ok but I'm not sure there's much point interviewing a VA for a shooter. It's a shooter. It's not a complicated narrative drama. The trailer was stupid because I thought this was a fun multiplayer-focused game about rescuing hostages from mini-mansions and the trailer and the interview makes it sound like a campaign shooter about global politics, which is like 87,500 times less interesting. The game demo was OK but less interesting then last year. I feel like this is a bigger project than I thought and that's going to make it less interesting than I thought. Maybe they just led with a scenario that I like better than the one they demoed here. Anyway, hope it turns out well.

Trackmania Consoles: 7/10. New environment looked ok, seemed fast enough, track building UI was good. Wish they had not cocked up the release on PC. What happened to Shootmania and RPGMania? LOL.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate: 2/10. Sorry Kabouter. I respect you as a person. These are not good or interesting games. Stupid Sware on me Mum, M8 level cartoonish Englishme. The use of guns in the series is so commonplace now it'll be a WW2 shooter before I notice. Seven cities? So that's what, one city for every five development teams working on it?

Rogue Warrior: Ghost Recon: Far Cry 6: The Division: Wow Brah I Blew Your Nuts Off with a Shotgun: Mercenaries are cool: My Stealth Option Is I Blow Up Your Entire Base with a Bomb: Adrenaline Junkie Drone Wars: Vote Bush 2016: A Tier 1 Special Op: Pre-Order Edition: Wow That Guy Did A Lot of HGH: A Pawn Stars Game: Damn How Many Bars You Gonna Fill?: 3/10. I enjoy her presence, and I like her overall. That said there are a few instances where I agree that she tries too hard.

That said, I think I prefer her over the cocky hyperbolic buzz-word-infested shit we get at Microsoft's press events.

One good one would be nice. Rainbow Six is some weird siege mode thing all the time now, GRAW was missing in action, Splinter Cell is a crumpled body in some air shaft somewhere.

I actually loved the Clancy games last gen. Still looking for something to scratch that itch, and it ain't The Division with its RPG leveling and loot.

Ubisoft's IPs are getting so damn homogenized. You could randomly jumble around the titles of half of the games they showed and no one would even notice.

Michel Ancel and the UbiArt engine are the only things preventing me from completely writing off Ubi these days, and who knows when (if) we'll ever get something new from them.

ya I agree it was preaching to the converted , but I am not sure that's all MS was aiming for, I'm not sure how many new fans they garnered today....

also I missed the holo presentation so sorry I didn't include that...

BC though is a big maybe imo... list is very small and "approval of devs" could mean anything I mean look at shareplay for playstation, half of them won't even approve that.

Also it's pretty late for BC i think, I'm sure people will use it but I wouldn't go back to 5 year old games personally. better to do that on pc if at all.
