1.5/10, worst E3 presentation by a country mile. Astounding display of how out of touch the company is with its fanbase.

Happy that 3DS is still getting good support. But feels like another Twilight Princess situation with the new Zelda. NX coming out sooner than we think, imo.

Wasn't as bad as some of you are saying, holy crap. I'm glad to finally get a release date for Woolly World (September though, seriously?) and Xenoblade will be dominating my Christmas break. I lol'd at the metroid thing.

Pretty apparent NIntendo's going all in with the NX next year though. Release date Zelda + Mario with a Retro game not far off would be glorious.

Well... I'm not sure what was worse from Nintendo, E3 2012 or this.

I bet that Metroid Blast Ball thing is Next Level Games' project, considering the leaked concept art from their previous Metroid project. Retro and Monster Games have probably been moved to NX, along with Zelda. Star Fox looked okay, will probably be a lot of fun but it certainly doesn't look impressive visually. I was hoping for more from it, it looks like it was made only to have something to fill the void. Aside from that and Mario Tennis (and Animal Crossing Party, lol) they have clearly abandoned the Wii U. Xenoblade and Yoshi have been coming for so long now that I've just about lost interest in them, tbh.

Wii U is done. I thought there might be one or two good announcements left but now...

Super Mario Maker should obviously be great though.

That was dreadful. They should just say if they're holding stuff back for NX, because right now it just looks like they're losing the plot.

Lots of stuff to look forward to. The Zelda 3DS game looks like it can be fun with online multiplayer, paper Mario x Mario & Luigi looks interesting, and the new animal crossing game could be great with its building mechanics. Also star fox Wii u could be fun despite having poor graphics and I'm definitely getting Mario maker and yoshis wooly world. Overall a pretty good direct despite not having many new Wii U stuff to show.

This conference was horrible. Literally nothing new nor worth mentioning ever again.

I'm officially sick to death of Mario. And bloody Amiibos...

Yeah, that was... disappointing, to say the least. Animal Crossing U being basically just Mario Party, the Metroid 3DS game, all the talking about things we've already seen...

I mean seriously, that's the new Metroid game? I honestly couldn't care less about it now :(

why couldn't they show devils third or fatal frame, what were they thinking spending over 20 minutes on mario maker. They honestly seem out of touch

it's a good thing their digital event is a relatively small part of their e3 presence

Treehouse can't save the when there are no interesting games to play. :(

Seriously though, other than starfox and maybe Paper Mario (which I doubt Treehouse will show) there's nothing for them to play which doesn't already have tons of gameplay shown off.

Well that was dull and very poor..and it started so well with the puppets.

No Retro Studios
No Next Level Games
No Tantalus
No Paper Mario Wii U
No HD remake
No Disney Fantasy game.
An Animal Crossing game nobody wanted
..Mario Tennis
No Metriod Wii U.

..and Starfox looks very average.

I got worked up twice. The "Metroid" 3DS mini game title, and the Animal Crossing board game, I thought it was the Animal Crossing U that many people have been wanting.

While Paper Jam and Star Fox looks cool, and Xeno X finally getting a release date is nice-- there was just expectations that Nintendo didn't meet.

Better than Ubisoft at least. Starfox alone did that but still we got a new Mario & Luigi along with release dates for stuff I want to buy. Woolly World and Xenoblade X are definite day ones for me. Co-op Zelda was neat too. Weak overall but not the worst.

Graphics wise, its looking pretty good to me. I mean people complained about Splatoon, Mario 3D World, Mario U, Mario kart 8, and other first party WiiU titles, then once they hit people go on and on about how good they look.

Lies.
People liked Splatoon and MK8 from the start.

Mario 3D world reveal was boring when the game was actually much better. That is the only one.

The problem with Starfox is that it looks dull. Safe.
Online multi coop? No
Voice chat? No
Standout graphics and spectacle? No

It just looks meh.

Bethesda - 7
Microsoft - 7
EA - 5
Ubisoft - 6
Sony - 9
Nintendo - 1

I actually felt insulted. I would be happier with Nintendo right now if they had not even shown up.

Flatline because of all the hype Sony brought yesterday, but still quite a few notable items.

StarFoxZero
XenobladeX
Mario Paper Jam
Mario Tennis
Yoshi
Fire Emblem

No WOW announcements. I think their NX E3 event, probably next year, will be satisfying.

Months ago, when Nintendo said they'd only be talking about 2015 games, a lot of people called them out and smelt something fishy but were shut down by a lot of Nintendo fans. Now look.

It's clear as day Wii U is on the way out and that Zelda will be an NX game. Your flagship console gets zero new game reveals outside of Mario Tennis and Mario party with an Animal Crossing skin? Best believe NX will launch in 2016 with Zelda Next.

Nintendo knows its futile supporting this system much more anymore, especially when there aren't that many owners who'd be upset by it.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Nintendo knows that the Wii U is their Saturn. They want to reboot as quickly as possible. If they do it fast they can still have a system that is similar in power to the PS4/Xbox One.

Jeez guys it wasn't that bad...

New Paper mario game
New Fire Emblem game
New Starfox game

I mean, I only care about Paper mario out of those, but it really wasn't that bad really. Could have been much better, sure, but come on...

I would have taken even some news of VC releases, or just something on the eshop. Nothing??? Come on :( I had my gamepad at the ready for today, and been saving my eshop credit, and there's nothing!

I've been seeing the hyperbole, how was this disappointing again?

We didn't get a Metroid game we necessary wanted.

No Animal Crossing Wii U, but some weird party game, and a 3DS home designing game?

New 3DS Zelda that is reminiscent to four swords instead of a nice single player experience.

Mario and Luigi Paper Jam looks sort of interesting.

Hyrule Warriors 3DS is a port, and no information if we can transfer our saves from our Wii U version to 3DS and vice versa.

Then all the good games was games we knew that were coming, but nothing new.

Showing Yoshi Wooly World AGAIN. With a October release date even though it's finished.

It was simply underwhelming.

What I would had wanted:

Animal Crossing Wii U
The Zelda game to be 1 Link for 3DS, everything else (outfits) close to the same.
Metroid Prime 4 or something like it for Wii U.
Paper Mario Wii U
Actually explain what Fire Emblem X Shin Megami Tensei is, no one understood what we we're looking at.
No Yoshi Wooly World being shown off again.
Star Fox Zero is fine.
No stupid filler.
Don't mention NX.
Mario Strikers not another stupid Tennis game for Wii U.
Release date for Xenoblade X is fine.
And clarification as to whether we are getting the two separate Fire Emblems or just one now.
The whole Mario 30 years should had worked up to a Mario Galaxy like game.
Yokai Watch was awesome, but we knew it was coming. But felt uselessly presented because most people don't know about this game.
Oh and Pokemon, that's sort of important.

3DS is in good shape.

Wii U is SAD!! really really sad, everything is amiibos!!

Yeah, safe to say that everything has moved to NX, hope it has a great launch, abandon Wii U.

Nothing new interested me from this conference, but I still need to get some older games so I am fine. From the upcoming games I want Yoshi and Xenoblade X, but still need to get Captain Toad, Bayo 1 & 2, Hyrule Warriors, Splatoon and Deus Ex HR. That will be all for me on Wii U, glad I have a PS4, hoping NX will be succesful for Nintendo, love their games.
