Arc System Works USA teases a fighting game coming to Steam on Twitter

Please be Xrd. I've had the PS4 Verizon since launch but I refuse to buy another arcade stick after investing so much in sticks last gen. On PC my dream of accade stick goodness can finally be realized :D

I wonder if the PC would have any improvements?

Yes, my point behind that was even if Sign comes out now, Revalator will still be late on Steam anyway.

I'd hope that once they catch up with their series they'd start treating pc releases better and the only reason we got BBCSEX instead of CP is because they care about story and want to release the games in order :T

Someone listed as a developer for Arc on steam last month said this:

Unless something changed in the last month or he was purposefully misleading people I wouldn't hold your breath on this being XRD. I think the most likely outcome of this is a PC version of UNIB that Nyumedia accidentally spoke about a few months ago on twitter which were quickly deleted.

That's what I remembered as well; either the plan changed (unlikely) or they are bringing a more niche fighter over. The twitter image doesn't bring to my mind anything from UNIEL though.

Someone tweeted them asking if they could bring UNIEL to PC and they said that Arcsys had already begun work on it. They quickly removed it and posted this:

Apologies, that last tweet about UNiB does need clarifying. A Steam release of UNiB is by no means confirmed. (Switch 'the' for 'a'.) #FGC

Here's what I'm thinking, its:
- Xrd (Highly requested, image sort of looks guilty gear related i guess, though the dev did state that the next game coming wasn't bbcpex or Xrd and that its a surprise )
- UNIEL (Also requested, Nyu-Media might have let it slip a few months back but the picture doesn't look like anything related to it)
- or possibly HnK (Could be the surprise as I'm sure people aren't really expecting it)

It can't be XRD since Atlus release games on Steam are super old, although I hope they do.

I literally just bought this from Amazon too last week :( at least I didn't buy a PS4 stick yet.

I got Aksys and Arc Systems mixed up there for a second. Was thinking about the potential for 999, VLR, or a potential sequel.

Ah ok. I feel like the speed at which Nyumedia deleted their tweet means that they were privy to something. Maybe I'm looking too much into it but otherwise I don't see why they would be so fast on the trigger.
Maybe they didn't want people to get the wrong idea, because that did end up happening anyways.

They're easy to get confused, since Aksys and ArcSys have been working together for years. ArcSys has been moving to self-publish digitally though.

That's not Nanase's Theme
You're fired -- and you're lucky I'm on mobile or I would be linking to the bike horn remix of her theme (yes, it exists and it's as awful as you think).

I think it was a badly kept secret that they were negotiating a PC release with French Bread for a while and then it just went poof. It's pretty clear that something happened

P4AU (lol)

Let's go!

I've been waiting for the PS4 release so I would be more than happy with this. If it winds up being Xrd I'm not sure I will double dip. It isn't going to have cross play, and I doubt it'll have a bigger/much bigger community than the PS3/4 (outside launch week).

Now if the next installment of GGXrd comes to PC and PS4 at the same time I'm not sure which system I'd get it on.

It's probably BB Chronophantasma. But if it's Xrd... be still my beating heart.

That color scheme for BB? I'd have a hard time believing it is anything but GG related.

How do I git gud at fighting games?

Is there ranked matchmaking so I can play against similarly skilled players?

Simplest answer possible; get ready to lose a lot, but research why you lost each time and take the time to study simple tactics.
I know this might sound really stupid, but when I learned defense, I basically learned by blocking with my face. That's when I slowly learned when to block and when to not block in a fighter. That's just one example of course. You have to understand why you're being hit first. For offense that's a study of tactics that's entirely on your end; you should understand why you land the hits you do and why you don't land the hits you want on a fundamental level.

In most of them yes, but any of them that do have it don't have a player base big enough for it work.

Did anyone actually try to figure out what the tease in the picture is.

The Persona and BB color card rankings work very well for knowing someone's skill level. However these games usually have small communities online, so it's a bit of a rarity to match against exactly who you want.

Xrd's ranking system makes no sense to me though.

I got nothing on that image by the way, I have no idea. It looks like lettering drawn by fire which does not bring up anything from any fighter I've known.

It'd be funny if it were Arcana Heart 3 LOVE MAX!!!!! (since they worked on the console port for it)...

and I'd be there Day 1 :p any excuse to prod them about the Six Stars update (EXAMU pls).

Kidding aside, it's probably Xrd, UNIEL or BBCP(Extend?).

Really want UNIEL but I want Shini on Steam being wrong and it is a BBCPE port, they can outsource it to H2 again so they can work on other port at the same time.
