Undeserved, imo.
Bold move. You gonna explain your opinion or just post a drive by?

It's unfortunate for them that they can't release Demon's and Bloodborne on PC considering the sales of the series there.
Kinda disappointed by Dark Souls 2: SOTFS performance, looks like it didn't sell very well for a remaster, or am I just expecting too high for it?
Why.
Oh so it did? Then everything should be caught outside stuff like private profiles.
Wow, not including Demon and Bloodborne, this is seriously impressive for a "niche" title.
These sales make me happy! Why doesn't the picture include Dark Souls 1 on Xbox 360?
They're console/PC games with no Japanese voice-acting. I can see why they wouldn't sell much in Japan.Kind of absurd how little it sold in Japan proper. Less than a million for the whole franchise?
Amazing sales for the series on PC and yeah, Durante surely deserves a significant chunk of the cash FROM made from DS1.
Considering we are getting dark souls type game yearly now how isnt it being milked like cod ?
Ok so im guessing many will say yea but dark souls 3 has had over 2 year dev time ? So has the new call of duty
Too samey for my liking, just don't really see any extraordinary good game design aspects or ideas this franchise brought along.

It didn't launch in Japan until expansion.
Nice to hear. After Bloodborne being my first "Souls" title, I'm super stoked for Dark Souls 3.

With a million copies a piece on Steam one would hope that Dark Souls 3 has no issues on PC for once.

Stealth edit: Off topic but, why was SteamyPunk juniored?
1 million sold through in that timeframe this early in the generation is a really good number for a game like this. I sincerely don't know what some people are expecting.Yeah, I expected more. Hopefully we'll get a sequel anyway (in addition to the expansion).
It's well over 3 million combined, Dark Souls 2 has no issues on PC. Stay informed
Unfortunately you're wrong. Dark Souls 2 (Vanilla, not counting Scholars) had the Durability bug. Plus there's input lag with the mouse/keyboard controls that makes it all but impossible to Parry or do a leap attack.
Use Google.
Wow, Japan doesn't give a fuck about them Souls.
You gotta remember how few people play on consoles now a days.
No joke Dark Souls would have made more money, only in Japan mind you, as an arcade or mobile game.
Oh God imagine a Dark Souls arcade game, haha.
That's an interesting opinion.
The Souls series, in general, is actually having a noticeable impact on other major titles with the way it handles its online multiplayer and death mechanics. I think it actually popularized some interesting design decision. More than most titles I can think of.
I'm shuddering thinking about Dark Souls mobile
Swipe the screen to dodge
Tap to do a light attack
Tap and hold for heavy attack
Pay $4.99 for 50 humanities
DoubtfulI wonder is they gave him something secretly...

IIRC All versions had the durability bug, PC was just more affected by it because it tended to run at a much higher framerate than 360 and PS3. The input lag I'll give you, but it seems like it was a concession for some commands being bound to a double click, rather than a sloppy mistake. In any case, it was fairly easy to fix.
So a franchise enjoying moderate-great success isn't deserved because it's not your cup of tea? Interesting.Too samey for my liking, just don't really see any extraordinary good game design aspects or ideas this franchise brought along.

Man, what fuck ah those PC sales lol
and they didn't outright confirm 3 on it for some reason.

They confirmed 3 on PC at E3, the "PC release negotiable" was likely from something aimed at retailers suggesting that hard copies on PC might not be day and date with console.
Even if PC is delayed across the board, I'd accept that for another relatively good port like Dark Souls II.
