Actually, they've been doing this for years. I've bought dozens of games over the years for a $1.

I'm of course busy over Labour Day, and those posters look so cool too.
Also I'm sure those retail demos will only be at Best Buy so that means either I drive up to Mississauga or I forget it because Nintendo hates Hamilton almost as much as I do.

Got some cool stuff for a dollar each at The Source, glad I went.
Meanwhile....somehow my shipping address on Amazon was missing my street number, even though I'm pretty sure I entered it. CP attempted to deliver Until Dawn this morning but had to return it, so I contacted Amazon and they set up a replacement order. I was worried cause the faq said they wouldn't re-ship orders and I would lose my E3 discount, but they actually came through. I guess I'm just lucky.
It's funny though how when Amazon actually delivers on time, somehow it still gets fucked up. It was free shipping too, with the "group" shipping option.

My copy of Madden NFL 16 hasn't even shipped yet. I shouldn't be able to cancel a pre-order on its release day.

This reminds me, for my E3 orders I forgot to check that ship individually box, but I think someone in the thread told me that they'd still ship on each game on release date anyway. Is that actually true or do I need to go talk to customer service to alter my order? How much extra does it cost to get everything shipped individually anyway? Each item on its own should qualify for free shipping...

I think you'd be better off just getting a used one off of Kijiji or Craigslist if you're looking for a lower price

I play racing games a lot so that's probably the most important game for me to get day one.

Did Phantom Pain for PS4 on PSN recently jump in price. I thought it was $65 a couple of days ago. Maybe I was looking at the PS3 copy.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who still has Forza saying that. Weird too, since it's only three weeks away.
Gears never showed up yesterday. Hurray for express two-day shipping, I guess!
Just not for me at this time. The campaign side doesn't fair as well as the multiplayer side. Framerate is set to 30fps and does not maintain it, and the graphics present don't show why it had to be locked to 30fps (not to mention thanks to lighting changes and missing atmospheric effects compared to the 360 version, many of the environments don't hold the same impact as they did in the original).
For someone who didn't like the multiplayer to begin with, has already played the first game, and doesn't care for the BC games (I own all 4 gears games on 360 anyways) there's not much there at all to justify spending $40 at this time for me.
Especially when my gaming time is limited enough as it is, none of my friends are interested in the series at all (so no co-op) and MGS V is less than a week away. I'm fine with waiting for it to be $20 or less, or waiting for it to inevitably show up as a free GwG title around the time Gears 4 releases.
This seems like a must-buy if you haven't played the original, or were into the multiplayer or have someone that definitely wants to play through the game in co-op with you. After that it becomes more subjective.
For me it's my 2nd last 39.99 preorder (Final Fantasy XV is my last for that category). Also hoping nothing goes wrong. But unfortunately, it seems BB has been giving the FS preorders 2nd priority as ever since FS shut down the shipments have been delayed compared to how it used to be (and compared to regular BB orders). I'm honestly expecting MGSV to show up around friday instead of tuesday. That way I won't be disappointed (unless they really screw it up and shows up the next monday).
My friend still hasn't gotten his godzilla ps4 order and its been 2 months, he says amazon didn't have enough to fulfill the orders so has to wait until they restock but doesn't know when that will happen. He doesn't want to cancel because of the e3 discount though.

Debating on whether to keep it or not, to be honest. MGS & Danganronpa are at least 25 hours each.
I can probably find it cheaper than the E3 promo too around Dec/Jan.

The e3 deal got him at $49 for the game, I just checked and it's $70 around Mississauga still. I agree that he'll probably find it for cheaper before they ship him a restock though.

$30 bucks. Game was really bad. It'll be $15 by the end of the year or a free PS+ game some time down the line.
